Vintage Perfume Pretender

A Flask for Liquor dressed up as a perfume bottle.

Standing tall in front of an 18th century boutis en bleu.

Poured out the whiskey and in its place I poured rose oil from Egypt.

Adding charming to the neck is laced one crystal from a chandelier, some lavender beads, and several venetian glass flowers.

Beats plastic and whiskey.

  2. How pretty! I collect glass prisms from chandeliers! Fab idea to attach them to a glas bottle or jar! The old boutis is so beautiful too, would love to have one, would even take a new one though, they make wonderful new quilts en Provence!

  3. I love old perfume bottles ~ even ones that aren’t really perfume bottles! Well done Corey (as always).

  4. You are forever clever! Truly romantic. Love the boutis as well. Do you find many of these? XOXO

  6. ahhhhhh so pretty… I think

  8. I love everything about this image. You have such a good eye – all the things you put together look so RIGHT and you take such stunning photos too.
(I can’t believe the boutis is so old. The colour looks so fresh and contemporary.)

  9. There is not an ultimate advice because everyone interprets odors in their own way, and the same fragrance can smell
totally different considering type of skin, hair color, temperament and even the season of a year. There are important
nuances if you do not want to seem vulgar or lacking of taste.

  10. Ah….the sweet, smell of perfume! Today’s market is flooded with hundreds and hundreds of different fragrances ranging from floral to woodsy. Most women love the smell of perfume, wearing it even when going to the grocery store. The problem is that perfume allergy for some women, is anything but nice.
