Half Empty is Half Full

Enjoy the boredom,

enjoy the silence,

enjoy the sleepless night,

enjoy the guilty feelings.

Enjoy the traffic-jams,

enjoy the pants that are too tight, and the glass that is half empty.

enjoy the stress of day-to-day living.

Each step

on the path

is worthy.

With hold judgment,

take it for what it is.

Nothing is forever

except

the moment at hand!

    Take care, Connie

  2. If you’re enjoying it, can it be boring?
You are so right, though. If we enjoy every experience, take in what is happening around us, live is a marvellous adventure!

  3. What a knock-your-socks-off picture Corey! I love wine glass reflections & here they referberate…the wine looks delicious too. Thanks 🙂

the best thing about your blog is that days (somethimes weeks) after reading it, I’ll remember your words and think about them some more! You have a simple, but eloquent way of expressing thoughts.

  6. I love the photo. Lately I’ve been fascinated with glass. Mostly beachcombed from our little lake or rescued from the recycle bin. Your glasses are lovely and the words are as well.

  7. mmmm, what a yummy thought to be sitting there with you in France. Sipping on a lovely cold glass of Chardonnay and discussing these beautiful words you just set forth.
    Heaven!
    🙂
    a.

  8. This is why I love your blog. You make the most negative things something to embrace and appreciate.
Feeling pain reminds us that we’re not six feet under.

  9. Oh yes, never take anything for granted…

  10. Enjoy, the image in the glass…

  11. how did you know this is EXACTLY what I needed to read just now?
    thank you corey!

  12. you are talking my language Corey! Love the glasses. So elegant. Creates the urge to celebrate everything… the too tight pants… the tired feelings I am having lately, loving it as it comes into my life and goes out… enjoying the whole parade of it all. The loveliness of it all is that everything changes … and it is all moving along … like a breeze or stream and just allowing it all to happen as it must. LOVE your prose!!! I just feel more creatived when I visit you.

  13. ok…. yes yes yes to everything…
except I am going to have to think about the pants that are too tight…
    aghhhhhhh !!!!

  22. How true are your words!
Sometimes the path that Alice tumbles into is not one of beauty, but there is hope that the light one sees in the distant will bring a renewel.

  23. exactly… and after all you can only live your life once so might as well make it the best it can be !
(i really tried to enjoy the 4 hours of my history test this afternoon, but i did have a hard time – i would have rather of been sitting in the sun enjoying the spring breeze and the birds singing, reading a book ! )
