our lives are a rich tapestry of things we have done and said with memories of those we love outlined in golden thread!

  5. This is lovely! Reminds me of the late astrologer Linda Goodman’s belief that twin souls are linked together by a silver thread, no matter how far apart they may be in the world…”Two shall be born the whole wide world and speak in different languages and… cross the ocean…until one day out of darkness, they must meet and read life’s meaning in each other’s eyes.” I can’t remember the whole poem, but that’s the gist of it. Beautiful post!

  6. love it!

  7. What if I’d rather have a silver thread?

  8. Sometimes our thread of love becomes knotted and sadly remains that way forever.

  9. Corey – years ago I grabbed hold of my golden thread – at the end was my husband -THE most important person in my life. I feel safe as I know he is always at the other end of my thread – our thread is tangled with life happenings but he is still one end and I am on the other

  10. I think some tangles are inevitable.

  11. You are so right, love can be so simple at times and yet so complicated at others.

  12. Good morning Corey. I’m still working on today’s entry for our dare but I’m curious about one things. The pictures here you post are so often very interesting to view separate from anything you write, as the golden thread picture is. Do you take the pictures?

  13. A thread as delicate as a spider webs and as strong as iron – so true… It is so important not to take love for granted.

  32. Simply beautiful!

  33. hello Corey.
In answer to your question…I believe in interconnectedness, that we are never apart or separate from all of this magnificent universe. we are one, sewn by goldthreads. (hence the name of my blog ๐Ÿ™‚

I’ve been giving this a lot of thought. Maybe you should use this lovely slender thread to garrote le voleur who copied your images. Heh heh heh, see if she’ll pull that stunt again (in the words of my mother). Or maybe Orama could just slap her. Just thoughts…
    tongue in cheek replies:
    No Slapping !!!
The blogger who used NINE of my photos (plus a photo from another blogger) without any reference to me, nor permission, has deleted both her design blogs, after a slew of protest from many other bloggers. I thank you for your support of my photos!

  35. A straight line would not be as interesting as one with tangles. That goes both for the thread on the picture and the life in general.
