Where Does Your Heart Bloom

Honor your desire by planting a seed of it somewhere. Let it take root in a small gesture,

a simple act, by writing your desire on a stone and tossing it in a river…follow your heart by dancing at midnight under the moon… or give yourself permission not be perfect by wearing mix-match socks… draw an ink tattoo on yourself of a word of your desire…plant a garden of paper flowers on your window sill… create a collage on your bathroom mirror…make vegetable monsters to conquer your fear…put love letters to yourself under your pillow…every-time you see that which you long for, say your name out loud.

Plant your desire in your garden, water it regularly with a symbolic gesture, and watch it grow!

“Plant your desire in your garden, water it regularly with a symbolic gesture, and watch it grow!”
These words are so, so important! And so beautifully stated. They speak of intention, in a way that means something.

Great post Corey, it makes one think……and when I am baffled at something, or mad at my self, I do say Judy, Judy, Judy, but I’ve never written myself love notes….it’s the simple acts that are special…..and I have drawn pictures on my windows that were steamed up……lol

  32. Corey, your reflections are so sharp and true. What we attend to grows, so it makes sense that we should attend to our desires, dreams and hopes rather than our worries and fears!

  33. deirdre

oooh, magic. I love this and will try to remember these spells.

  34. Love this post! Such wonderful ideas. Yes, yes, yes. Also, the photo is delicious. All your photos are so divine — you are surrounded by so much beauty all the time, lucky lucky you.

  35. Yes. You have to plant and nurture the seed, for something to grow and for things to happen in your life. Sometimes the hard part is finding out what it is you want to grow, then having the courage to wish for it.
    Beautifully put Corey.

  36. jennifer

    thank you for this. 🙂

I found a stone, it had Peace engraved on it. I put it in my pocket and took it to England with me. It was for A. who was my friend and who died. I went to the country churchyard where she was laid to rest and I left it on her grave. The birds sang, the sun shone and all was well.

  38. Beautiful!!! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
