Flower Bed

Waking up, rubbing my eyes in disbelief, the seeds I had thrown in the air many moons ago, are taking root, blooming unexpectedly!

Miracles happen in unusual ways.

I see a gardener reaching down to me, lending me flowers with strong healthy roots… showing my hands how to dig into forgiveness, by weeding my stubborn wall flowers that grow on uneven ground.

If you want to grow, weed your garden and plant the seeds. Water steadily with your desire, and watch it shower you with possibilities to become a rose.

I am reaching up and gathering the flowers I want to plant inside myself.

  1. Not only do you reap what you sow, you reap more than you sow.
(PS: Be careful what you sow!)

Digging for forgiveness is something so easy to avoid…the soil is rocky…there are thorns nearby…it requires a lot of weeding… But, oh, the rewards…

  39. corey, i just read about 20 of your posts it’s been so long since I stumbled on your blog months (and months!) ago and I find it all over again, new, from Poetry Thursday. Your photos are amazing – they have a sweetness along with a wonderful lusty, life-filled power that really appeals to me. And your stories and short essays, the prayers and thoughts you share on your blog are inspiring. I feel like you really share your true self here on your journal blog.
I probably won’t comment as much as many others do regularly mostly because I am such an introvert and I’m a little overwhelmed by the huge number of comments you get on your posts. But just wanted you to know I am reading and enjoying your photos and writing immensely.
    Maureen
