When you come to a fork in the road,
where what you want is right in front of you,
yet what is safe is where you are…
Trust that which is within you to lead the way.
Is that a lamb or a puppy at her feet? Could she be a shepherdess leading her flock down the fork in the road…
Sometimes your words speak directly to my heart…
always dear corey! and i agree with crust station – your words speck to my heart!
Corey,
You frighten me with your perceptive insight.
Follow your heart away from the safety of dissatisfaction. Scared!

Oh boy. That can be very scary.
When your heart speaks take good notes.
I always follow my heart darling one.
Be good while I am away.
Love you Sugar Plum!

so simply & eloquently said…
very true. thanks for a little insight this morning.
Sometimes its so hard to take that step – but looking back after you have taken it you say “why did I wait so long”!
How often do we stay on the path we are on, for fear those we love will not follow?
Laughing, following my heart has gotten me in lots of trouble in my past! I now choose to follow my brain – and fortunatly my heart agrees. I do have a very adventure filled brain – love to dive in and let the heart catch up!
Beautiful tapestry, I wonder if she shed the dress and met her lover half way across that water?
This is a beautiful post Cory. Thanks

Call him over! the you can watch him take his shirt off and swim towards you!
Good advise for us all.
Very true, ones gut instinct is to be trusted.
Cheers, lj
All I can do is picture myself running back up the road and standing there wondering if I made the right choice.lol
Such a beautiful picture to help usher us on our way.
Hugs,
Connie
Following my path right now is to keep on letting The Holy Island Lindisfarne speak to me…..
time ago.. they let the woman think about marriage proposal..these were the hurry-free days.. and I always.. think about..how our life could be..if we choose the other way.. not as an aspiration.. but pure curiosity..I wish.. you always take the right directions.. and Corey.. I finally made these cigarette rolls.. and took photos of the preparations.. maybe you can have a look..
and thank you for your nice reply e- mail.. you are a tender person..

Hello Corey,
I love this tapestry, so I was excited to see there is picture of the fuller one–**BUT** it doesnt work, it only goes to the main page, http://willows95988.typepad.com/, not to the post with the big tapestry. If you could post that link I’d be so excited to see the fuller image : ) Waiting Hopefully : )
Mais oui, mon cher Corey! Exactement!
So often I’ve gone around without sight when I decide to lift my veil, the world is once again a beautiful place…thank you Corey for the wonderful reminder to follow your heart….hugs
Once a week I go for a walk
along the river Seine with my dog…
I follow a “chemin de hâlage” (=towing path)and I like to watch the beautiful properties standing on the other side… One of them takes me back to another age even if I cannot clearly date it … I like pausing for a while by a bunch of trees and watching it… and then I can imagine life there … and then. “Cette gente Dame” in the tapestry looks so much like me …the only difference, still, would be… in the look of…the dog(!?!) as mine is a Labrador!
