Each one will take you on a journey to a place that is yet to come.

Do you dare knock and enter?

The first step of tomorrow begins today, may the door open wide and welcome you with open arms!

That is a beautiful door. Lovely post, Corey.

  3. A door knob in the middle. I love when something is a little off kilter….makes life so much more interesting.
I’d walk through that door anyday just because of where that doorknob’s located.

  4. I love adventure and new doors to open!!! Coreey you never disappoint!!

  5. That is a glorious clolour and who wouldn’t want to take a peek inside.

  6. Me too, I’d love to see what is behind such a beautiful and promising door! Oh well I have the feeling it is about time to open another or a new door in my life.

MMmm…what wonderous colour, do you think your neighbour would mind if we all turn up outside their door? Seek and you shall find, Knock and it shall be opened to you!

  8. You’ve described the color well. I’d open that door…

  9. Oh! The anticipation! Is it better than what is actually on the other side? Are people mopping in there? Or dancing?

  10. the color! but the little mail slot is the thing that has my curiosity peeked…is their a stack of letters and cards on the other side? will we need to jump over them when we enter? could we peek at the senders name and address? Lovely post and thought..in life we go through many many many doors:) xo

  11. To knock and have the door open to you, is in itself a good sign.
Now enter with an open heart and mind, how can you be disappointed..?

  12. too often we stand still… not willing to walk forward… to even start the journey! today i am taking a big step… a meeting to learn how to do my own website! one small step at a time. 40 and starting over. it is exciting. you can teach an old dog new tricks… and i am learning to look at life and really see it. really see the color (the door) and the posibility of what is on the other side! blessings!

I am too shy to knock when passing by, so instead I sit down at the nearest café with a glass of red wine, writing a letter on sea blue stationary with a golden border. The owner writes me back, and after some correspondence we meet, and……the rest is not for me to tell here…….

  14. the first step is the most difficult to take, but there is no other way if happiness is to be found
    thanks for the reminder, Corey!

  15. I agree –
but I like windows to peek through…

  16. Lovely……fills me with wonder at the possibilities.

  17. Luscious color and wonderful thought of today being the beginning..again.
The story from yesterday’s post is such a beautiful one. “She blushed coral.” Perfect.

  18. the first step of tomorrow begins today – ahh words I need to be taking on board right now.
Corey – when you start ‘life coaching’, can you please sign me up! of course I would have to fly to France but that is ok 🙂

  19. la vie en rose

  22. soooo pretty… I want to go
    open the door too !!

  23. Your photograph centers on the right aspect: the handle to let us in or out. Which do we want?

There are many doors we must open and enter in this life..at times there is fear of the unknown and once entered we find a different challenge.. behind each door.
It would be nice to enter a door as pretty as the one posted.

May the door open wide … I read the link – the idea of closing and opening the doors of times past, current or future – where we’ve been, where we are and where we’ve yet to go – how they all integrate to create the passageways of our lives. Beautiful post and gorgeous corresponding photo.
    Much peace, JP

  26. Corey,
My introduction to a door such as this was on my first visit to France. We went to visit our son, living on rue jasmin, just off ave de mozart. Opening that door changed my whole life!

  27. I am like a cat.. I look around.. as if uninterested..
walk slowly..around .. as if I don’t look.. and if everything seems appropriate.. will go and knock very politely..
because when someone opens that door.. there must be sereinity.. and a welcoming smile…. that is why I sneak..
but the colour of this door.. creates another effect on me.. jump to it and bang with both fists.. and shout.. open the door please.. let me in .. plee.. be quick..
It is beautiful..I want a blue door..to imagine what is behind..
thank you..for catching this detail.. and share with us..
