The teapot stood amongst the bric and brac with its pretty head held high.
It could be worse it thought,
Feeling bad is just a new sensation,
Tomorrow is another day,
I will survive.
Every cloud has a silver lining, and I am a pretty-darn-good-looking, silver teapot.
There is a light at the end of the tunnel and inside my belly too;
Never forget that you are unique, that is my motto.
I am playing my own game haven't you heard,
"You are a loser only when you fail to try;"
So I stood tall and sure enough–
Along came Corey, grabbing me out of the bric a brac muck;
Looking me over, asking the price $15.
"Not to shabby, though there must be a problem if it is this cheap."
Making a bad decision is better than making no decision at all.
"Importance is always relative, it looks good and for $15, why not give it a shot."
She sealed the deal.
It is as good as it gets…a teapot strainer, fills several cups at once.
When it rains it pours.
Photo: The teapot that fooled me. It leaks in several places.
