Unmistakably French

The foot of an armoire step in front of me, wanting to waltz into my living room!

"But where I asked? I don’t have the space for another armoire."

"If you love me you’ll find a place!"

"The things antiques will say to get under your skin and into your house!"

  1. Corey,
Your armoire is gorgeous! You must stop teasing me like this!!!! I would love looking at it all day. I wouldn’t even mind stubbing my toe on it once in a while…I would forgive it!

  2. Excellent philosophy – If you love me, you will find a place! I’ll have to use that on my husband the next time I want something really, REALLY baaaddddd. LOL

Isn’t it a bit like having kids? You know, never a good time? You do it anyway, though, and it all works out!
    Beautiful armoire.

  4. Blessings to you my darling one.
Happy Sunday on this cold cold cold winter January morning in
    Ontario Canada.
    Beautiful as always.
    Love you
    Jeanne

    The dance in France…
    It took just a glance.
    Instant romance?
It may require a cash advance..
    This is high finance.
    Corey’s in a hypnotic trance.
    Again!
    Was it happy chance?

so??? is it in your home yet?
    Corey Responds,
No, we parted with ways with a hasty goodbye! He was so mad he slammed the door shut! Armoires can be so emotional!

An abandoned house spoke out to me, I loved it and was able to understand its language. All things can tell stories, though we don’t always need to bring them home…..

It’s so gorgeous, how could anyone resist! Well done, Corey! I’m sure you will find the perfect spot in your lovely home.
    Corey Responds:
As much as I wanted to dance with it in my living room. I had to kiss it goodbye at the dancefloor. It will be a good memory!

  13. Who would be without?! There is always room for one more treasure.

  14. A friend of mine who loves to hit the antique and thrift stores once said: “NEVER say ‘I don’t know where I’ll put it’ — you’ll always find a place”.
She later hauled home a huge Hoosier cabinet in the back of her SUV.

  15. It just wanted to get it’s foot in the door…
Corey Reponds: That is a good one liner…but once a foot gets in…oh la la!!
