    Weekend, Weekend,
    Cha Cha Cha……….
If you blunder raising children anything else you do in life is of very little significance.
    Jackie Kennedy!

  2. Three sweet little stories Corey!
I once missed an entire auction because of a trunk full of old letters there. They chronicled a murder that had taken place in town…the killer being this woman’s son! (sorry my story wasn’t as sweet as yours!)

  3. Oh how I can relate to this story….as though it were my own (and it will be one day!).

  4. Sounds like a wonderful invitation!!!

  5. You create beautiful moments from long past lifes.

  6. Hi Corey, Go take a look at my two posts from April 7th 2006. My friend, Francine, gave be a shoebox full of beautiful antique French postcards and included the romantic story of how they came to be. I’ve only posted a few of them but your romantic post now encourages me to post more of them. Annie

  7. “Mother and Child start a journey.”..and it seems it has been a great journey!

  8. I wonder what stories people can tell from the things we collect today, it’s interesting how everything we own can leave a trail and allow others to form a picture of one’s life.

  9. What pretty postcardes and little vignettes! …your molly is adorable !

  10. You have such a beautiful way of combining your finds. I love the shell heart.
Seeing your treasures always brings a smile. Thank you, Corey!

  16. lovely.
‘A picture speaks a thousand words.’ who said that???
    anyway, awesome site!

  17. You’re really on to something with these collages/collections and their little stories. Beautiful, Corey.

  18. Me, again. Just wondering if you’ve thought about putting together an entire story from beginning to end, with characters, a plot, etc., with related photographs? I think it would make a great children’s book. Original, like Nick Bantock’s Griffin and Sabine books. Just a thought…

  19. How do you do it, Corey? You are amazing and wonderful and charming and breathtaking all rolled into one person!
Can you tell I loved this post?!

  20. Oooh hurry hurry; Off to Paris!

  21. very cool idea.

  22. I love every bit of the things you’ve posted – the mother-of-pearl heart, the nostalgic photos, the amber buttons… sigh… And I completely second the motion to maybe think about putting some of your incredible image-and-word making ability into book form… It really is one of the more beautiful, uplifting, and relate-able on a soul-level things out there…
    Big hugs!

  23. Lovely photos and collages. I like the third one best.

  24. Corey-
So sorry I have been remiss of visiting. I am struggling a bit. I saw your post about blogging and direction on another blog this morning and I really wanted to talk with you about it.
PS Congrats on winning most inspirational. That’s amazing!!!

  25. yes, aren’t vintage postcards special and provide a travel in time? as of june 10, paris will be only 125 tgv-minutes from luxembourg. c’est magnifique!

  26. Paris Parfait

Your photos are lovely little vignettes.

  27. Marie-Noëlle

People’s faces on vintage cards or photos are really intriguing… they are always dull-eyed and look so serious, even children do…
I love your first 2 arrangements!

  28. Such wonderful photo compositions Corey, just gorgeous!
