Fifi, the French poodle loves Paris. As soon as the sun comes up, she puts on her hat and heads out to prance around town. She is a sweet dog with a motto: Enjoy life at hand!
The flower market along the Seine river, never fails to give her chapeau (hat,) a touch of pink. She is a dog that cannot do the dress-up simply, no she adds flare to her every movement!
Fifi, likes to wander down the streets tucked in the Latin Quarter. She enjoys sitting in the outdoor cafes, gobbling up pastries and watching the fashion parade of the Parisian…that really tickles her fancy.
Paris is a beautiful city, nobody would deny that fact. Fifi knows that she is just a small little dog amongst its beauty. Often nobody notices her. She heard that an American named, Corey, was looking for her, searching high and low. Fifi found it funny to play hide and seek!
Here is Fifi’s friend, Tache Noir (black spot.) He is a run-way model-dog; perfect spots, standing proudly…yes folks, this is a Chanel dog! A Dior dog! He is the type of cutie pie dog you would give your last Laduree macaroon to. Fifi found Tache Noir extraordinary, she likes how his ears perk up to the sound of Prada walking on cobblestones.
Three of Fifi’s favorite things in Paris are: # 1. Menus on black boards. She is glad she is a dog. French do not eat dogs. Dogs are gods anyway you write it!
# 2. Being bathed in sunlight under the Eiffel Tower. Especially, when everyone is standing in line waiting to go up…ignoring the play of light dancing above their heads.
# 3. Meeting new friends in unusual places. Such as the Vanves flea market, or sitting on the bench reading by the St. Martin Canal, or up top Samartine, or in the catacombs, or walking along the Senat fountain at Luxembourg garden, or cozy up in pink satin while listening to the bells of Notre Dame.
Fifi likes to leave her mark outside of the church. Corey left her mark by lighting candles. She lite one for Julie, and her cousin Linda at the Sacre Coeur. In fact the guard was not pleased that Corey took a photo inside the church. He seemed to yell, but it was only a loud whisper…PAS DES PHOTOS!! Corey nearly had her camera smashed, and she was certain she heard a dog bark in glee!
Fifi lives in this apartment. The front door is blue Jolene. Unfortunately, the little old woman who lives there is faster at her shutters than Corey’s camera shutter! (Note: I took 24 photos within a few minutes and this is as close to seeing what you asked for Jolene as I got. It was by far the most challenging request that I received.)
As the last evening fell in Paris, Fifi was proud to say that she hid well! Corey never found her.
Photos: Last day in Paris. Thank you for letting me see and discover Paris through your creative suggestions. I saw things differently, looking through your eyes. I hope I haven’t forgotten anyone….
