Leap of Faith

Life isn’t fair. It is not always easy. Life continues, it doesn’t wait. It doesn’t ask you if you are happy, or is it good for you. It offers mountains to climb, valleys to visit, and a sky that is endless. One step at a time or running through it…one thing is certain our path is right under foot and the directions are endless.

photo: Sacha standing on a stone staircase that leads upward but to nowhere, though he smiled at the top.

  2. what you share today rings loudly in my soul. have you ever thought about becoming a song writer?

  3. Your son looks so grown-up…up on the top of those stairs. I hope all is well my friend. Bisous

  4. Life is short, live each day to the fullest…I say this, but “life” gets in the way. Does that make sense?

  5. In the end, all that matters is what matters to you…

  6. WE must keep putting our best foot forward on our walk of life even if during difficult times it is one baby step at a time………
    Blessings!

  7. Don’t jump!

  8. Cool shot….he looks 10 feet tall in that photo!

  9. And you watch a dvd of Pollyanna (the lovely old one with Hayley Mills) and despite the fact that it is a bit cheesy something about it resonates with you – be GLAD ( or just thankful) – not a bad way to live your life

  10. You are sooooo right! I read somewhere that “sometimes your only means of transportation is a leap of faith” and I believe I have now experienced it!Thanks for a great start to my last day at my job!!! WooHoo, we are leaping now! Can you see that yippee skippee dance starting? And please tell Chelsea thanks for being my role model – no fear! (heart) leau

  11. How true…the path that we are to follow is right before us…like it or not!

  12. happy friday the 13th…blessings, rebecca

  13. How comforting to know that the directions are endless. To go in a round-about way can also mean progress, whether that is slowly or having to climb mountains.Thank you for the reminder and the strength to take that leap of faith.

  14. Sasha looks ready to take on whatever the future has in store.

Well said Corey. It is those little trips on a step that irritate me.

  18. This is so true!
And what a great photo to go with very wise words!

  19. Yes, it just rushes by, not even throwing a rope down…Gushing in its own selfish glory….Jumping on the train is hard sometimes…But, the destinaiton can be so glorious!! xoxoxo

  20. What do you mean the staircase leads to nowhere? I bet it lead to a great view!
    Ciao!

  21. I believe that life is what you make it. If you make it sour or hateful you will have a sour or hateful life.
However if you for good and happy things, I feel that you will have a better and happier life.

  22. The path to good is straight and narrow. “Where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.”

  28. I am feeling so keenly, the fragility and unfairness of life today.
Your post yesterday was about connections, today I fret if a connection will hold tight and endure.
The randomness of life is hard to face today. I do not worry over which path is for me, but rather for another. Will we meet again?
I wish I was at the top of those stairs with a view of what lay ahead.
Sorry to be such a sad sack today. 🙁

  29. I guess then it is the journey that counts.
I must remember that when I feel blah! It is so I can appreciate the great days.
