Shared Life

Girlshands

For hands that embrace and encourage others to play,

For hearts that beat a tune that set feet a dancing,

For sparks within the soul that light the way for others,

For the days behind, and the day to come,

For the miles of open spaces, and a hand to hold in the silence of it all.

Thank you.

I LOVE photos of hands. My favorite is my own Mum holding my (then) baby daughter’s hands….all those wonderful wrinkles of experience and the perfect soft baby hands of innocence….

Was I asked to hold out my hand there, I would have spoiled the picture with … my bitten nails!
OR I would have borrowed that nice crochetted glove from its owner… UNLESS…

    and
    spinning gleefully
    under the stars
    in the moonlight

  26. To soothe a fevered brow, to wipe a tear, to applaud accomplishments…
    Each hand is as

  33. What a lovely picture, and lovely thought! Hands are certainly the eyes to the heart, I believe. These hands tell so many stories, I wish I could have been there to share in some of them! You are a ‘grand’ lady Ms. Corey!

  34. Rochambeau

Beautiful hands to create friendships with!!

  35. Lovely photograph…all the gentle and creative hands…it gives me so much joy to read about and see the photos from your magical time together.
The crown rings are wonderful…did everyone have one?
It made me run to my jewelry box and take out the garnet crown ring, that my parents gave me when I was 23 years old…sadly it is too small for me as I used to wear it on the the little finger of a very skinny hand…I think I will take it to the jewlers…I feel a need to wear it again.

  36. Corey, what a beautiful photograph! Hands of great beauty. Your artistry with photos and words never ceases to amaze me.

  37. Stephanie
