Advent… a journey

                  Heaven and Earth

Between heaven and earth there is a thin line. Unnoticable and unassuming. Though at times heaven seems to be… underfoot, deep within and stirring in the air we breath… like a thin line, a thread weaving heaven and earth as one.

Breathing communion, breathing life.

  1. Heaven, I suspect, is where we find it. So is Hell.

    Have a blessed advent Corey.
A thin line metween heaven and earth. That’s what I have learned from the celts, and at Lindisfarne this line or film is at its thinnest.
I have found alot of other “thin” places as well, places where it is good to be.
Your blog is such a thin place.

  3. beautifully expressed Corey.
Thanks for your comment on my blog. Talks about things I love to do at this time of the year and how much I love Christmas. About the thin line as well between that joy and sorrow for the ones who are unhappy or alone.

  27. Freefalling

Don’t mean to bring the tone down, but if there is a thin line between heaven and earth, does it stand to reason the same applies to hell and earth? I think it probably does.
It’s all a great big swirling mass.

  28. somepinkflowers

    don’t you think

  32. When I heard Andrea Bocelli sing, in Los Vegas last Saturday, I sat there and thought, “this must be what heaven is like”.
It truly was a transcendental experience.

  33. Reading this reminded me of a comment I apparently made when I was a little girl attending a relative’s funeral. Looking confused at the grave I said to my mother: “But … how does heaven get into earth?” Maybe the answer is in that thin line … Wishing you a wonderful advent, Corey 🙂
