Sweet Angels

Img_3151Img_3148Img_3156Img_3047Img_3154

It seems to me there is love thick enough to cut these days. I think the angels are working over time… angels overhead, angels in the corner, angels at our side, angels upstairs and downstairs. Love abound, scooping us up and holding us tight.

The angels are crafty and clever too, spoiling us silly. The angels indulge our sweet tooth and make us  hot dinners, it seems the angels bring us exactly what we need before we know what it is that we want. Obviously the angels have their ears close to our pulse, listening to every little sound we make, answering even our tiniest wishes. How do they do that?

Dear angels your halos are golden.

Hope the sun is now pouring its light on you, as a halo, sweet angel…

  3. I agree with Caffienated Cowgirl. The angels come to us just when we need them most. It has always been at my most difficult times that the angels are in evidence. May they care for you and comfort you all now x

  9. Corey,
I know exactly where the angels come from, they are a gift from God, whether they are in human or spirit form:
“For He will command His angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways; they will lift you up in their hands…” Psalm 91:11-12
He whispers to them what you need when you need it and they respond. He is meeting all your needs with His vast riches and caring for you in His most tender care and loving you through human connection.
My prayer for you is that He will fill your days with ministering angels whose touch will carry you from strength to strength. May these tender mercies cover you with love and healing life.
    Blessings

The angels go both ways… And, if you feel the thickness of love flying through the ocean and the continent, sweet Corey, I assure you that each and every one of us (your friends) feel the love coming both ways. A big hug to you!
    Love*
    Suzanne

Bob read your post yesterday and looked up Willows location. We see you are are quite near Lake Almanor where our dearest friends have a vacation home! Maybe you’ve looked out to Mt. Lassen and enjoyed its beauty over the years. Now I pray you can take a break and look at something beautiful nearby that you can share with your Dad while hospitalized.
Be strong Corey – it’s so hard I know.

So glad there are so many angels in your lives. And thank you for the link to “Charlie Bit Me”….although my husband may think a little differently on that subject. My 2 daughters and I are doing constant variations of it with bad English accents. We love it but it is putting him over the edge!!!!

Oh Corey! This is lovely! I just read your post below. Continued prayer for no pain and an appetite to grow is what we will pray.
We are watching the same process with my beloved FIL. He now has a feeding tube but he can still choose to eat as well. It has been difficult to watch the change in the relationship of my in-laws. She growing sadder and he growing weaker.
But we do still have our angels…
    Nancy
