The Aroma of France

                         IMG_6965

Molly my five year old niece went with me today to the grocery store. While driving  there she told me she could smell France. I thought to myself that the lavender scent that I sprayed in the car must still be detectable, and how clever she was to somehow know that lavender was often referenced as French . I asked her what did France smell like? "Oh Coco you know," she said while looking at me from the corner of her eye, "France smells like frog legs and snails."

"Really, you don't say?" How does a five year old know such things? I looked in the rear view mirror and asked George my five year old nephew, who was sitting in the backseat what he thought about that. He said, "Yes, it does and blue cheese too."

Without laughing, I asked, "Are you sure you two aren't smelling Sacha's dirty socks?"

First time, I thought that you were smelling, Coco by Chanel…but it seams not, Frog’s leg, my God, a very trendy perfume by Jean-Paul Gaultier?

  16. The last few posts have been a beautiful mixture of letting go and letting in. Healing takes a long time but it begins inside oneself and pushes its way out. You are healing and it is good to see.
