How to have pure clean Fun

With one hand stir gravel on the ground until the dirt separates creating billows of powdery dust.

Stir until your hand is thickly covered with dirt, appearing to have a glove on it.

                                IMG_8086

Shake it wildly, back and forth creating dust clouds,

Be certain to close your eyes.

When the dust dies down rub your face with the remaining residue.

Then say a prayer that you parents like your new game too. If they don't– treat them to several sloppy kisses.

  7. Such a sweet curly baby – even when dirty!! All your nieces – well all your family – have fabulous hair!!
I love it when parents, and perhaps favorite aunties, allow children to be children and do things like this – life is serious enough as we age – must let them have fun when little.
As always, you caught the moments perfectly Corey.

  8. I also works well if you add water….

  22. Now that, my friend, is what I call getting down and dirty!! How cute and sweet. Just exactly the way it is with little ones. If there is no dirt there is no fun.

I read your blog every day and enjoy it so much. You have a very close and wonderful family and such beautiful children. Your little girls are so huggable. Just precious. Children being children – can’t beat that.

  24. Thanks so Much, Corey!
I continue to be enchanted by your daily entries!
I’m thinking this could be Molly’s baby brother who was also watching Chelsea and Mr. Expresso with her.
Blessings to you and your family, dear lady!

  25. Just fabulous photos as always:D Thanks!!!! hugs, Linda

  26. What a wonderful post! Why, I don’t believe a child has ever before been caught in the act of getting dirty. We just see the aftermath and miss out on what a magic time they had doing it! Your post “Dreaming” is wonderfully touching. A beautiful story!

  27. How I long for those days when the messes were so easily taken care of with a tub of bubbles. Recently we watched family videos and laughed ourselves silly over a “mud” day in our backyard. Serendipitous fun!
Today my sweet eldest daughter sheds tears over a broken engagement. I wish I had a “quick-wipe” for the pain.
Thanks for making me smile … as always. Your eye sees beauty in the simple things in life. What a blessing! : )
