When you live in the country you create your own fun. No need for fancy
gear, nor snazzy design labels, heck you don't even need to wear shoes. A wooden fence and some cousins can turn the front yard into the Olympic Track and Field high jumping contest.

Your posts this summer have been amazing. It is wonderful to see that you are all healing and supporting each other. The Amaro family continues to inspire! With school starting tomorrow, I wanted to take a minute, while I have one, to wish you a safe and glorious homecoming back in France. Your blog will continue to be a source of escape during the next few busy months as I begin my 23rd year of teaching…….. thanks for providing the beautiful images and quirky wisdom that brightens my day!!

I love these pics of the boys having such fun – and no Olympic setting could match your Mom’s front entry with all those fabulous country style treasures.

I love these pics Corey – the boys are having such fun. No billion dollar Olympic setting could match the color and treasures of your mom’s front entry – it all looks beautiful.

This is too funny! I grew up in the country, so I know what you mean about the magic.
I miss it now that I am old enough to appreciate the quiet and the green spaces. -
