A Secret Hideaway along the Mediterranean

                          IMG_0558

Alongside the Mediterranean there is a stoned wall path that leads you to a secret hideaway port and a romantic restaurant.

                        Mediterranean

The path is uneven, slightly steep and a good fifteen minute walk, but it is well worth the trek even in heels.

                       Mediterranean

Like I said the path is somewhat uneven.

                       Chez

The restaurant sits on the water, and is open between May and September… because after that the sea takes over and has its own party. Chez Bernard's has a private beach on the left side of the restauarant.

If you stay on the path, instead of turning down towards Chez Bernard's you will come to a small hideaway port.

                      Mediterranean

I dream of living in one of these small cabins.

                      Mediterranean

There is another little port village across the water.

                     Mediterranean

Sea front property, where the sea is your lawn. Though a very small cabin, with a trek to the nearest road– costs an arm and a leg, but fills your heart full.

                      Mediterranean

Simply divine. No fuss, no pretending, it is what it is… a cabin by the sea.

                     Mediterranean

Without fancy cars, or deluxe yachts. I could be Stella's friend couldn't you?

Twilight by the Mediterranean.. Blue Paradise.

  9. Breathtakingly beautiful! I have often dreamed of living by the sea but have also often wondered if it would lose its enchantment if I were to see it daily rather than annually. Perhaps I will never know so our romance will linger!
