Surrounded by Love

Nicole and benoit

The couple, Nicole and Benoit, moments before the party started. Camera shy, a bit nervous and full of anticipation. Nicole is from South Africa and Benoit is French (his name gives that away.) Benoit comes from a big family, they were married last weekend in a small family town in the Basque countryside. Yesterday, a celebration took place in Marseilles for the other half of their family and friends.

It started with champagne, parents and grandparents popped the corks. From then on out it was one wonderful celebration of joy.

Songs were written and sung for the married couple, and traditional love songs from the Basque country shared.

  37. Corey,
Thank you so much for the energy fueled positive vibrations you brought to our wedding party. You turned my parents into confident dust busters (Number 12 will never be the same again;-) and then, cooked, organized and snapped a storm! And when the music came, you danced furiously the night away!
    Thanks for this lovely post,
And may peace surround you and your family!
    Benoit

  38. Caffienated Cowgirl

Oh, that photo of everyone surrounding them…I am in awe of it…the love it represents!

  39. Matt Miller

Congratulations!! And why wasn’t I invited?
Just kidding – I know how difficult weddings are to organise and how difficult relatives can be – and it looks like you had a little gem / bijou of a wedding, n’etait-ce pas?
I look forward to hearing the pitter patter of little feet before too long. (PS. That does not translate to you having to get Nicole a dog ou un petit chat, Benoit, but just do what comes naturally to a French man when matched with any beautiful girl – and don’t ask me to translate that!!)

Nous sommes contents de pouvoir visionner tout cela de Budapest!
Félicitations au jeune couple et a leurs parents!
