I have a thing for that white and red mug of yours………I would fill it with hot chocolate, sprinkle it with some fresh ginger and a little pepper since all my world is white and cold right now. Then I would grab Victoria Finlay’s book about Jewels, wrap myself in a huge knitted shawl and sit down near the fire……..

our day was in turmoil with my french husbands mother being taken to hospital with a heart attack. our lives nearly shattered into a million pieces today. i thought we lived on a solid glacier but life is more like thin ice. strength of heart to us all.

Mmmmm…dark chocolate covered cherries! Yum! That’s a must-have in my Christmas stocking.
