… and he says he does not hog the covers!
Photo: Baby, I got proof that you do.
Stories Collected While Living in France
I’d say you do! That is absolute proof – with witnesses, now!
yeah… and my DH doesn’t snore, either.
Oh, that is SO funny! The proof is now in the pudding as they say!

Sweet dreams!
Your bed looks too warm and inviting. You did crawl back, didn’t you ๐
Two sets of covers!!! That is the answer.
– Suzanne, the Farmer’s Wife
Two beds! That’s MY answer.
i can identify with this for 30 years my husband did not take the covers. the last 2 years they are draped on the floor on his side of the bed. i also took pictures.we’ve tucked them in but that doesent help either. i would threaten to sleep in another room but i know that i’m not going to do that either. seperate blankets dont work , he takes both sets. love conquers all.
I call my husband “Blanket Hog” all the time!!! This morning all the blankets were on the floor on his side….what is it with men hogging the blankets??? Any theories??
As always your post put a smile on my face Corey!!!!!
I think it is a guy thing. They can’t roll over “under” the covers. They roll taking the covers with them.
Blessings in 2009,
Lorilee
Ha! Photographic proof is irrefutable!! You know, my camera takes videos. I think I will follow your lead and shoot one of the hubs snoring. I’d like to see him deny it then!
Have a warm and cozy blanket-wrapped day. ๐
Ha! I would hog that fluffy, fluffy blanket too!
I would frame this photo! Proof!
HAHAHA. Love that picture! It has brought a big wide smile to my face this morning. It’s time for you to “take the covers into your own hands”. LOL
Kris
love that!
I agree with Lorilee. They need to learn how to roll UNDER the covers.
Suzanne,
I agree with you on the duplicate covers suggestion. My husband and I disagree radically on the level of coverage needed. He rarely wants more than a light sheet and I always want a thick comforter. I cannot imagine how many fights this approach has avoided.
Oh, and Corey, FH may be a blanket hog, but he looks just too adorable there.
Love that picture. The more they deny our observations/accusations, the greater the hogging or snoring!
hehehehehehe – you may not be able to live this one down my dear, when he sees your post!! What delectable French toes!
ha!! we’re always right!!
HHHHHAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!
It must be a guy thing……..my hubby does the same thing and then blames it on me. The nerve (lol).
I love it!;-)
hahaha!
I used to RE-make the bed almost every day because my boyfriend pulls the sheet out from being tucked under the bottom corner of the bed. I always thought this was just some CRAZY thing he did in his sleep… until he helped me make the bed one night and asked me WHY I tuck the sheets under… WHAT? I thought that’s how everyone made the bed… ?!!? Turns out he pulls the sheet out ON PURPOSE… he can’t stand that tucked-sheet feeling. Now I don’t tuck… what’s the point!?! haha Plus, I steel all the covers in this relationship anyways… hehehe
cute pic, by the way…
Corey, this pic is priceless! My husband “rolls” with the covers too.
He also does not know how to throw away the cardboard roll left from bath tissue. I decided to leave them on the floor to see if anyone but me throws them away, and I can tell you the pile grew and grew and grew until I caved in and put them in the trash!
Ha Ha Ha!!! You’ve got him! Photographic proof and lots of readers who’ll testify for you~~~
Wait wait wait …
I’m gonna be the devil’s advocate here …
How do we know you didn’t roll out of bed from in FRONT of him?
*winks*
I can’t seem to send you a copy of an ad I spotted the other day. Tell me how to send the picture to you and I’ll be happy to do so. I’m going to try it on the next batch of sheets I bring up from the laundry: Split the foot of the bottom sheet in the middle for about the depth of the tuck under the bed. This way you can tuck in your side of the bed and leave his side loose! Every night for 46 years of marriage, my dear has pulled out the covers because “they are too tight,” then complained when one of us ends up with no covers. Duh, I don’t know why I haven’t figured this out sooner.
Well, I must admit, I am the cover hog, in my house ๐
I could swear that’s MY husband too!!!
Mine now has his own blanket..but lately he keeps stealing MINE.
I would bet a lot that YOU are soooo in trouble!!!!!
XOXOXO
Same story here. I wake up freezing with a corner of the blanket over me.
~elaine~
My husband “did” the same thing…then I came up with a sort of solution that works! We have a queen bed…so…I buy king size top sheets and king size blankets…that way I end up with a little more blanket…it really works!
Hah! Great photograph, Corey. ๐
LOL… My husband hogs the covers too. He also denies it along with snoring. Men!!
