Floral Art and Antiques make for the Sweetest Perfume.

Green moss chair

Take an old, chair carcass, cover it with moss, set the chair on the table as a center piece. My friend Laure is a floral artist.

Bench on wall

Need a shelf? Laure uses an old bench as one, hooks it to the wall, adds vases of flowers, starts a conversation by such a piece. The world does not need to be as we know it, things can be different, or at least lead as in a new direction. Who says a bench is for sitting on?

Chandelier in a tree

Find a dead tree, bring it into your home, hang a chandelier from it. Sit underneath it and take time under its shade. Talk about winter and believe in the promise of spring.

Dolls on a clothes line

Vintage dolls on a clothes line.

FADED ROSES

Faded roses, broken dishes, and a few pebbles, glamor is not ordinary, everyday can be a holiday and a reason to buy flowers is not needed.

Life as art

Life as art. Take what you have and let it color your day.

Flowers on hand

Flowers on hand.

Greener grass

Did you know the grass is greener depending on the season?

Laure's floral artistry adorns hotels, restaurants, events, weddings and kitchen tables.

Laure worked at the famous and most expensive hotel in Paris… the Crillion. She also gives classes on creating with flowers.

Lovely to see some flowers and colours. Up north here we are almost hibernating…..snowing in! I try to fill the indoors with flowers and signs of spring, but I am longing for the snow to melt.
    Look forward to the website.

  22. What an incredible creative talent Corey, very inspiring. Imagine your Mum would like Laure’s style; improvising with the unexpected. I could imagine a bench set on the wall as a shelf in your mum’s home. Have a great Sunday, I wonder if the Broccante beckons ? Peace, Jx

  23. This is one of those shops I could spend hours in – and have to touch everything! I have this horrible habit of having to feel beautiful things even when one is not supposed to!

This is my sort of florist. I have a tree in my kitchen holding up a breakfast bar. It’s such a cheap but effective way to make a statement.

I just love that detached hand with the red nails. Thanks for all the lovely photos, Corey.
