Dancing with the Stars

Dancing with the Stars: Chelsea and Sacha made a dancing video. I thought you might like to see them in action.

They are dancing in front of the camera on the computer. I have to figure out a few things about filming… but until then this is as good as it gets…dark light, delayed movement and uncut version.

I have been adding photos and your links to my side bar (over on the right side of this post, scroll down to "Things you Like".
Tell me what you like to look for at the antique/fleamarkets and I will add it here with your link, as soon as I find it at the brocante and take a photo of it, that is.

Hope the weekend has you dancing too.

Note:

The video was filmed with the camera on my MAC. Chelsea and Sacha went to the photo section of my computer, clicked on Photo Booth, then clicked on Special effects… then they danced… there wasn't any editing, it does that special effect by itself.

  4. That is so cool!!

  5. Pretty amazing dancing…I give them a 10!!!

  6. Hello Corey,
    I love antique French rabbits.

  7. That was so cool! How did you get that disappearing effect? Your kids take after their parents…natural dancers! Thanks for the smile!

  8. Loved the video! They reminded me of you…. dancing across the football field at halftime…..dancing across the cafeteria floor during after game dances on Friday nights! Very fun. Enjoy a wonderful weekend.

  9. WOW!!! What incredible fun—- not to mention talent and creativity. This is amazing!

  10. I think this is amazing! Great video! They appear to be very talented and better yet, have great fun together! More than anything I love old books and words and letters.

  11. Amazing kids, amazing video…I’d certainly keep that to show the grandkids..:)

  12. What a sweet video!
    They’re beautiful kids!

  13. Very cool! I love the dance moves and the camaraderie between the two of them!

  14. Being way beyond the age to hang out in clubs…is this the way kids dance these days?? They are absolutely fabulous. On my best day, I never had moves like theirs. Thanks for sharing your beautiful children.

  15. I always look for vintage kitchen things in working order. I like to use things that others long ago used and kept.
    Have a good weekend!

  16. Oh I love the video,,so fun, thanks Corey. Ahh…. to be young again.

What a fun video. I agree, I had some pretty good dance moves back in the day but WOW your kids are awesome! Good job with the camera. I love the double exposure. Do french kids listen to American music? I don’t think American kids listen to Euro artists. Your two look like typical American teens to me….low slung pants and all!

  18. Cool dancing and a lot of fun for Sasha and Chelsea!
I would love to see carved candlesticks, please.

  19. That was very fun to watch. Your kids must be so much fun to have around the house. 🙂

  20. I’ve just crawled out of bed. Feeling kind of puny this morning, but OMG what a wake up call that video is !!!! I’m smiling ear to ear !!!!!
I would imagine a person could find wonderful old buttons at the brocante??????? And the double treat is that they are so small, a person could make away with tons of them !!!!
Also are there ever primitive style dolls????

  21. HOW FUN THIS IS!!!! It’s 7:28 AM on a Saturday and I’m in my jammies rockin’ out! Your kids are GREAT dancers! I’m really impressed by Sasha because the teen guys I know have no rhythm…and Chelsea is a wild woman~~
Thanks for the fun start to my day~~

  22. i love it! how great is it that brother and sister can have a good time dancing around, being silly. it’s nice to see they are such good friends…

  23. I can tell you don’t have a television!! Because if so, they would have never made this video.
How did you do the double exposure thing?

  24. WHEEEE!!! That was such great fun to watch…thanks for sharing (and thanks to them for letting you share!)! They dance devine and with such fun and friendship that it just brings a smile to my face 🙂

  25. Your kids are great dancers! That sure looks like good exercise!
I love silver anything and white linens from the antique/flea markets. 🙂

  26. Aren’t teenagers great! We ran out of them at our house about 3 years ago… but we’re now working on some teenager grandkiddos… only 2-years away from that big event… Wonderful video… brings back great memories of my own little teenies… hugs. Dixie

  27. Bravo!!! Everything about this is wonderful – they way your beautiful son and daughter dance, how much fun they are having with you and each other, and what fabulous editing – love it, love it, love it! Thank you for starting my day out with such a fun and positive experience!

Makes me want to bust a move – but NOT in front of a camera!
Thank you for sharing…thanks to Chelsea and Sacha, too.

  35. Too cool! Too fun! How nice that they have fun together…..I’ll be smiling and hearing that music in my head now all morning…..

  36. What cute kids you have! Cute because they would undertake to do this project together in the first place and because they are doing it together as brother and sister.
They look like they would be fun to live with. I know I wouldn’t trade my two boys 17 and 19 for anything…
    Aren’t we blessed?
    Denise

  37. Sacha and Chelsea, that was fantastic. I could see how much fun you were having together.
I like how there is 2 of each of you, that’s creative. Good beat to the song too.
Corey and Yann, if there were more families like yours the world would be a different place.
    Thanks for making the video.

  38. That was so much fun to watch. You’ve got a couple of talented kids there. Thanks for the entertainment.
    Carolyn

  43. Tres Magnifique! Seriously, I am impressed with this!

  44. Jend’isère

Fun to see techno music disco in antique setting!

  45. We also have Macs and my kids do special effect movies all the time. Aren’t they wonderful!

  46. How fun! My girls take the special effect photos of themselves on their MAC laptops and they are a riot! I’ve never seen them do a special effect video though. I may have to ask them to do that for me!… Donna @ An Enchanted Cottage

  47. Kimberly

How fun! We have a Mac also and my boys love making crazy videos. Great job Sacha and Chelsea. You inspire me to dance. 🙂 Blessings,Kimberly Oh P.S. all 3 of my boys love to dance and I must say they do it well just like your kids.

  48. it’s only fitting that children of two people who met at a dance club should be able to cut a rug! sacha dances than the teenage boys i remember at his age; maybe that’s the french blood 😉 maybe favorite move of chelsea’s was when she unleashed her hair! so great they still do things together at their ages; sweet to watch!

  49. Ed in Willows

The video was great. I can’t remember ever dancing with my sisters. It’s nice that your kids are so close to share such things.

  50. No fair! My kids would rather drop a cement brick on their feet than dance!
    Chelsea and Sacha can DANCE!

  51. I TOTALLY enjoyed watching the dancing video! Great dancing, choreography & filming tricks : )

  52. what an amazing family you are!

  53. Ariane Cagle

Wow! What amazing and talented kids you have!! They’re great dancers. Loved it!

  54. Bucks County, Pa

Great video, your kids are natural dancers.

  55. Now I know whom I should take dance lessons from. Hourly rate, please. 😀

  56. Jend’isère

Wonderful teenagers: they share the limelight equally between themselves and seem to not rebel in appearing in maman’s blog!

  57. Wow. I might be jealous. I can just picture if I asked one of my brothers to dance with me let alone record it on video……hahaha
To quote** the young folks, “Mad skillz” your kids got some mad dancin’ skillz.
** I can not be held responsible if the young folks are no longer actually using phrases like “mad skillz”

  58. Dear Corey,
Your children are so very beautiful, with all of that energy and joi de vivre!
    Love the video!!
    Sincerely,
    Poe

  59. CanadianCarrie

Corey, this is fabulous!! I haven’t been here for so long, I thought I’d stop by and here they are! It brings back memories of me and my brothers recording over the Beach Boys on our little cassette players and acting out a Debbie Gibson song, fabulous!

  60. I love this all kind of ways. How beautiful and talented they both are. And how clever a dance video it is. Someone would/should do this for a big production video but even if they did it couldn’t be done any better.
Plus, most of all, I love that they did this together.
You and Yann have made wonderful young people.

  61. wow that was so cool, corey!! 🙂

  62. Morgan Carney

Oh my gosh Corey tell them both that they did a fabulous job!!! I was totally impressed! They are too cute!! Love it!

  63. I am a little late commenting on this older post. The first time I read this, I was on the computer at work and they block You Tube, so I hadn’t seen the video. And I just remembered to go back and watch it, and it was FABULOUS!! How professional looking!!! They could be choreographers! BRAVO!!!!
