The Embrace

                  Strong gentleness

With his strong gentleness wrapped around her, he gave her room to grow.

His love is even strong and confident enough to let her free – if that should be what she wishes.
Lovely! This is what love is all about!

  2. Such a graceful piece.

    Poetry in word and vision!

  5. Like in that beautiful photo posted of you and Yann taken on your birthday last year. A picture does say a thousand words.

  6. What a beautiful picture and sentiment.

  7. Is there yet another matchmaking endeavor in the works?

The life you put into this object also hints towards the eternity of something less concrete-love. With just a litte rust to keep it real!

  9. You’ve captured it perfectly, I think.

  10. Corey… beautiful photo as always… and just the right words to accompany…
I received my beautiful tins this week (I picked them up at the PO today)… and I’ll be doing a post about them soon. I have a friend who’ll help me with the windchime design… I can hardly wait to start!
Thank you again… so much. Dixie

This may be my favorite post of yours, Corey…
    Such beauty is this.

  14. This goes to prove that one can see romance in everything. All it takes is looking for it. It is waiting for us everywhere.

Wrought iron, what a treat, especially wrapped up in your special poetry. Thanks, Jx

    Bonjour, Corey !
I have not posted for a while but I have popped in every day.
I pondered over “things I would like” from the brocante… getting puzzled because I’m not “une chineuse”… When I finally managed one, I had problems to find the English words for it… and days had flown by… and I stood there with my “gaufrier en fonte” – or rather the idea of it. But I had the time to have a bite of that gorgeous strawberry shortcake, to see Growing Boy turn round the corner and to sit opposite to FH with you and share “bulots” with him in La Ciotat, enjoying the last dance show by new group C&S… !!!
    No time for rest !
Today’s post should have played the poetical string in me… but the cast iron brought me back heavily to “le gaufrier”…!

    Hello Corey,
French Blue sent me over for a lovely, lovely visit. She knew we would love it here and she is absolutely right! I will be happily immersed in your gorgeous images and writing for the next week of so it seems. Wonderful to find this treasure of a blog.
