Gone Shoppin’

Gone Shopping.
See you later.
When is the last time you went shopping with a teenager?

Let me say this about that…

When shopping with a teenager the whole, wide, world opens up like a technicolor rainbow. The music in the shops is not at all like the music in the department stores. Such a groovy thing.

Dancing in the dressing rooms is common.

Want to feel young at heart… take a teenager shopping. Milkshakes, French fries, hot pink polish, and raspberry lip gloss are in order.

  1. Teenagers are my life – I’m a high school teacher! I love love love their humor, their honesty and their youth….don’t get me wrong, there are those “shock factor” moments and questionable fashion choices. But, generally, they are our link to both our past and our future. They make me feel young and older than the hills in a matter of minutes!
    Enjoy the shopping!

Are you kidding me? I used to work in the teenage section of a department store… what a fun place to be! Although at times, I had to take my ____ (fill name of favorite energy drink here!) to keep up with them.

  13. I had all boys, so I missed out on the shopping thing in my early life… however I now have a 1 year old granddaughter, so I’m looking forward to those kind of shopping trips… if she’ll actually be interested in her old Nami. (:

I’m a mother to sons, now in their 20’s, so I missed out on mother-daughter shopping trips, but I love milkshakes, french fries, hot pink nail polish and raspberry lip gloss. I hope you ate and wore all of the above on your shopping trip!
    I would have. 🙂

  19. LOL Corey, just took my daughter shopping for prom – I entered stores SO outside my comfort zone, loud music, chandeliers, accessory city – so much fun for a mother to experience, remember when we were the teen shoppers? Yeah, me too 🙂
