Stories Collected While Living in France
Great photos….oh how I wish I was there!
I hope the two of you have a wonderful time!
Sigh!
We hope to be there next year. I’m storing up links of places to see and cafes in which to linger.
That first photo of you is so appropriate – a glint in your eye as you stop to look at the world while people race by.
Colette
Love love love this post,
I feel like I was there too.
Big merci, Chelsea! 🙂
Thank you Chelsea for photos of the most beautiful city in the world!
Very (very very) impressive images – what an eye she has! This time last year I was preparing for my first trip to Paris, alas it was only 4 days but I hope to go back soon. This post was my trip this year, ha.

How fun!!!! Summertime in Paris is so devine.
Great photos! I can’t wait – my family will be there in a few weeks!
Merci loyal blogger…for taking time to share your voyage!
Looks like a photo was taken from top of the ferris wheel.
PS. Because it is called “Paris wheel” in Swedish, I just looked it up and found it was not invented there!
Excellent photos! I specially like the first photo, with you standing still while people are moving around you. Very artistic.
oh so much fun!!! and the sales are going in now..what did you find? oh and with the fast train..geez i would go to paris every second weekend..

Bon Jour! Looks like so much fun. That first photo is great… they all are but that’s my fav.
XOXOXOXO~S
What is that saying that starts “When all about you are …”? Something like running about in a flurry, stay calm. Wish I could remember the whole thing because the first photo sure reminded me of it. Great photos! Looks like you are both having a terrific time. I didn’t realize how tall Chelsea is!
I could so easily travel with you – having someone else who carries their beloved camera with them would be a nice change… 🙂
xo
Thank you sooooo much for the Paris eye candy…non-fattening, but oozing with delicious optical calories! Hmmm…I didn’t know the Tower had a spotlight at the top? And the photo of the lamplights was perfectly positioned. Oh, goodness, they were all wonderful, especially you and your daughter 🙂
Hi Corey….photos are brilliant, I HOPEFULLY will be back there soon..looks like you are having a wonderful time..:-)
Chelsea shares her mother’s talent for photography. Thank you Corey and Chelsea.
Amazing photos! I looked at them twice. Blessings, Kimberly

The same artist than her mother. it is so great to read your stiry about mother and daughter . Love the feeling of this post.
Can’t wait to see you back in Provence
You are so gifted with your camera! Wonderful photos – thanks for sharing Paris with us!! 🙂 Silke
For some reason, the “Post” key below has decided to work today (holding breath that I can post this before it changes its mind).
Delighted that, no matter how wonderful Provence is, you’re able to get away for a couple days’ change of scene to refresh yourselves! Have a safe trip home.
Oh you…. You look so pretty and happy in that black dress with your Chelsea girl! Love your photos {especially the one of Cafe Marley} as always and your sharing your beautiful days and nights with us. My American husband who thinks he is French just booked our tickets to Paris in October!! Yeh!
I can’t wait!! Love this post~

Wow, what great photos. Chelsea needs to be a professional photographer.
Here I am a pure Texas girl, born and raised. But I went twice (’93, ’97) to Paris for mission trips and fell so in love with the city, the people, and the culture. Each stay was for two months and in that time I felt at home and familiar. So, wasn’t it Gertrude Stein who said, America is my country and Paris is my home town, I echo that thought. Last June I had the dream come true to take my loves (husband and 3 girls) and introduce them to the city I yearn to know more and well, let us just say, the magic didn’t rub off on them but they came away willing to give it another try. Your warm pictures, (great dress by the way) put in mind of my daydreaming to revisit the city with my girls one day too.
WOW! Chelsea takes great photos! I hope you are having a great time!
Love the shots! It looks like you are having a ball!
I remembered another fantastic shop to visit in Paris – ribbons, buttons, felt, knitting, embroidery, patterns – Entree des Fournisseurs – in a beautiful courtyard at 8 rue des Francs-Bourgeois in the Marais – a perfect little shop with such beautiful windows and ribbons. Enter the courtyard and the shop is to the rear.
I’ve been to Paris 3 times as a teenager and loved it.Unfortunately my husband does not see the attraction so I have yet to visit as an adult or lover. Sigh.
I just had to stop by as I was visiting “A Thing for Roses” and she left a link to your blog. CHELSEA TAKES GREAT PHOTOS!
I have been to Paris twice, and love seeing your photos!
Paris really is one of the best places to stroll at night. Enjoy.
Cory,
How did Chelsea do that first picture? I LOVE it, and want to do it myself!
I, too, love your little black dress and think both you and your daughter are BEAUTIFUL. You two do a lot for Paris, it is a city lucky to have you both to grace it.
Now, on to your home in the USA! Please give your wonderful mother my love (I found myself admiring her during last year’s time of trial and love and letting go.)
Attention:
“Une photographe peut en cacher une autre !”
fantastic pictures !
Hi Corey. I’m back from Portland. We stopped at Starbucks in Willows and I sent you a wave that flew across continents and oceans.
Chelsea has her mother’s eye. Her pictures are outstanding, especially the great hall and of course that wonderful moment in the first where you look stopped in time and enjoying every moment of it.
Annie
It really is a very beautiful city, one of the prettiest I would say.
What fun photos. And best of all no cars and no noise to detract from the city’s beauty.
Isn’t that the Place Furstenberg at the end?
Mary
Bonjour!
Love taking this little trip with you.
Wonderful, creative pictures!
Fabulous Photos! Great job Chelsea!
