A Room with a View

Eiffel-tower-at-night

Last night we had dinner overlooking the Eiffel tower.

French Husband's cousin's apartment has a small balcony with a view.

Unbelievable.

When I walked out on the balcony, the view of the Eiffel Tower surprised me, talk about a room with a view.

Lucky.

We had a fresh seafood salad, with a glass of wine and the best baguette hot out of the oven from the bakery next door.

If I did not know better I would say we were eating at Tour Argent, or Jules Verne, and that I was Coco Chanel and Chelsea was Edith Piaf… I have a very active imagination, a view does that to me.

  29. I’m new to your wonderful blog and follow it.
Have you eaten at one of the L’Entrecote restaurants in Paris? If so, have you cracked their creamy, savory sauce recipe, or heard of anyone else who has? I loved eating there when I attended classes at Le Cordon Bleu in the sixties. Thought I’d be able to figure the sauce out when I tasted years later, after a long career as a cookbook author, but I still haven’t. Will so appreciate any information.
    Love to you!

  30. Today I wear Coco Chanel and remember Paris again! Thank you.
