We arrived after hours of driving in the heat, traffic, safe and somewhat crazy. Then a miracle happened, the story begins, one that I have longed for since the beginning of our trip. We met some people who instantly became our friends.

oh my lord, I am becoming addicted to this adventure of yours.. it is like I am becoming infatuated with the journey, falling in love with your words and photos.. showing Joe (dutch husband) and as I said, there is a glint in his eye of getting on his bike and doing similar…
I love when you cross paths with someone when on holiday and they become friends.. it happened to me in Vietnam…
that heat under the motor-bike clothes is like hell, I reckon.. I have experienced it here in summer.. have got off the bike and virtually laid my body in the gutter…
hope you are keeping hydrated.. I carry a small mist bottle of lavender water in my pocket.
I am so lucky that it is winter here in Woodford.. I have been reading your archives.. much like Sascha read Harry Potter! -
That looks SO beautiful!
Prague is the next place I want to visit!
( and now Croatia too!) -
me again – had a look at the photo of you sitting there… you hot bikie chick 🙂
those buildings. so old are something I only dream of. I cannot wait to get over there and absorb some of the history. -
The beauty of travelling is exactly this, meet other people, other countries, other habits, and discover that we all are alike at the end. There’s a richness in travelling that doesn’t compare to anything else. Can’t wait to read and see more.

After the rough the smooth and how we appreciate it. Friends are so welcome when so far from home, new lives and new stories. I cannot wait to share in them. Love

Dear Corey,
…your words describing the changes between one country and the other are so beautiful – and believe me- you can only feel and experience the changes of smell, air, atmosphere when traveling on the back of a motorbike, it opens a new different world of sensation to your senses and vision that you´d never have in a car. Et finalement, I was already wondering when you were going to meet soulmates- maybe another biker couple ? En attentent ta prochaine raconte … je suis toujours avec vous. -
So wonderful indeed
and new friends as well.
Love you

What can I say…you are so lucky to have been given this fabulous opportunity, the memories you and french husband will have, the friends you have made along the way…..UNBELIEVABLE!

What a trip , indeed !The façades in Prague are so beautiful ! You are so very brave for doing all this bike riding ( I went riding with a friend on her scooter and I felt like I had accomplished a great deed !)and you have all my sympathie for the sweating part ( ack !) . The street with the lovely banners looks so nice , I am sure it is full of surprises !

Corey,Again I so appreciate you sharing your journey. I really enjoyed the notion of cultures being one and the image of holding hands. Your photos were also very insightful, with the comparison of facades. thank you again for taking the time to share.

Dear Corey, Oh that road hasn’t changed in 20 years. I’m so glad you made it safely!! Think about taking a ferry across to Italy on the return trip. Stay safe. Cy

Corey,
For someone living out of a suitcase that is a little oval thing on top of Willow, you look very relaxed and put together in that picture “Girl in Budapest.” 🙂
Loved the coast of Croatia video. Looking forward to the rest of your journey. -
Wow! I am so jealous! My grandmother was from Yugoslavia, what is now Croatia, and I would love to visit some day!
-
Your descriptions make me feel as if I am there walking along with you. Oh and new friendship too. How wonderful! I can’t wait to hear more.

When my husband and I were in a foreign country, it was as if we were in a dream together because the only conversing was between the two of us. We joked that we had made it that long…But we do look back at that special time. Have fun with your new found friends.
-
Omigosh! You have given us a cliffhanger. I cannot WAIT for the next.
-
Sounds like your heart-mind-body is responding instinctually to the collective heartbeat of the streets you are traveling. Far out!
-
A shower of rain under your motorcycle gear, that happens to me just standing still! -
Such a beautiful image of children from various nations playing together and finding a common bond and a common joy.
There is much to be learned from that scene.

It is so wonderful to travel along with you. Could this become a book? Your descriptions are winsome, your photos capture it all so beautifully. Thank you for taking us along with you on your adventure. (the best was the video up the mt, in Austria!)

Gorgeous series and what a cliffhanger!!
ps- my favorite picture is of the girl in Budapest. 🙂 -
Glad you have found friends. They must be special people and hope we get to meet them too, Jx

I think I hit the lotto! What a wonderful blog!!!!!! I can’t wait to come back for more adventure! I have traveled to Italy, and have heard wonderful things about Croatia…..now I can see South of France through your eyes!!!!
Heavenly! -
It’s all just so beautiful. Take care.
-
It’s very touching that you paused to think of all those people. I know several families who took 3 days to go 50 miles, among other things. And I am delighted that you found instant friends. That is always so gratifying and so reassuring!
-
Corey,
You are truly on the trip of a lifetime. My goodness you have seen some beautiful places. I am so jealous. I can’t wait to hear all about it when you come to California. Enjoy this Corey. I don’t need to tell you that, I can tell that you are enjoying every moment of this adventure. Be safe and I can’t wait to see where you are going next.
