Where do your dreams take You?

trees

We went for a walk French Husband and I
Something caught our eye, setting a fire inside of us,
dreams started flying, endless possibilities,
creative, wild, a whirlwind of yakkity yak. Our giddiness did not go down with the sunset.

Where will it take us?
Who knows… but if it does manifest into something,
you will be the first to know,
In the meantime isn't it a miracle-thing when something you have seen a
million times before takes you by the hand, making your feet skip, your heart open wide and pulls you in a wonderful new direction? Falling in love does that, committed love does that, love does that…

As we walked home French Husband and I, a leaf tumbled down catching my eye, Smiling at the universe I thought: The beginning, the end it is all the same… a newness comes with change and even when things remain the same there is a constant stirring of life. I hope the river of passion never dries up.

Corey, you have been to my blog, you know what dreams can come true. You just need to egg the on a little bit by not forgetting them, by visualizing them and by talking about them. It happenend to us. It can happen to you.

  16. Corey, my husband and I will be married two years in November. I hope that our love story is as beautiful as yours. Thanks for being such a inspiration in so many ways.

  17. Yes, passion can be breathless at times, and how incredible it is to stop and breathe, I mean really stop and breathe. I don’t do it enough. Actually, I was dreaming about that in the last 24 hours.

  18. Dear Corey
My dreams continue…someday it will take me to France to rest and enjoy a passion of beauty, wine, good simple food, and friendship. I love what you just wrote.. I will continue to look up as in your beautiful pictures of the leaves and branches reaching towards the blue sky.

  21. And may I add that dreams don’t diminish with age….my husband and I are finding our way through what some might call the “sunset years,” but still there are new ideas, bursts of creativity, the excitement of exploring possibilities. It’s what keeps love alive, and you describe it perfectly, Corey. You brought tears to my eyes.

  22. My goodness, this is one of the best posts I have read in a very long time!
Here’s to chasing those passionate dreams!

  23. BigLittleWolf

Il me semble que vous avez de la chance… c’est rare, un tel amour. Il faut en profiter, tous les deux. (And I loved the door handles.)

  24. Oh Corey, I want to be in love. That’s my dream. Even better, I want to fall in love in France. It’s been nearly 10 years since I found myself suddenly single and I have almost forgot what it is like to be that close to someone, but I’d like to try again!

  25. Corey you are such a tease with your words. I read and re read your post trying to figure out what you and FH were planning, trying to read between the lines. I don’t have the patience for you to reveal it in your own sweet time.
You and FH, walking, talking, flying dreams, fires inside . . .
Then it hit me! OH, NO!!
Corey, please tell me this is NOT about your sex life!!!

  26. What a wonder. Just last week my eyes finally took in an empty old stone building on the main road of our small Texas town. I just had never quite registered it. And then, all at once in my mind’s eye I could see a welcoming painted wooden sign above the main front door that said “Stony Cottage Cafe”. All of a sudden a rush of ideas and imaginings came to mind of a small 6 table cafe with a bakery counter, that offered cream tea all day and a few savouries for the cowboys that would be dragged in by there citified country gals (it’s a big city ideas meets small town sensibilities kinda of place). I spilled out this daydream that took me by surprise to my husband and engineer that he is he immediately started running the numbers and facts, pros and cons. After a small silly debate I simply told him that it was a lovely vision that I just wanted to hold with him a while and not quite chew on it yet. He smiled, said it sounded dreamy like me and I held on to him, thinking to myself that the man i was holding was one the biggest dreams come true in my life.

Simply divine! your words captured my imagination and when driving home the wind was stirring and blowing leaves in a beautifully orchestrated pattern across the road way– and I just know the leaves were dancing their last dance in the wind before they went down for a long winters nap!

What are you up to, Corey? Sounds as if something is going to happen on your side. I am definitely going for a shopping tour through rainy London today,it is Halloween, lots of people out here in the streets at night.
    Love, Lieselotte

  29. This is so intriguing; I can hardly wait to hear about it.
