Thank you for listing some of your favorite books and blogs in yesterday's comment section. Your list included many of my favorites too! I found it interesting that we share the same taste in reading books and blogs. Do you have a black dress in your closet and a motorcycle in your garage? I bet you love tofu too? I think this can only mean one thing: We are BBF you know!

Thank you for the shout out to these wonderful books and blogs. Feel free to add more in today's comment section. Secondly, I didn't list all the books and blogs mentioned as I ran out of time. To see the complete list check yesterday's comments.

Thanks again and happy reading.

Note——–

I do not know why some blogs linked and others did not. I copied and pasted them as you wrote them in the comment section. Therefore it is not by my choice if some have a link attached.

The books and blogs noted with an * means they were mentioned more than a few times.

  1. Oprah would be so proud of you Corey…all those books!! Linda C.

  2. You just want me to spend all my blogging time with you! I have 3 motorcycles in my garage and yes I have a black dress. Now I’m bugging my hubby to take me on a long road trip. The problem is he has sport bikes and my butt doesn’t fit.
    Happy Friday!

  3. I don’t have a black dress….but I’m thinking on getting one….:) and DO not like tofu…sorry! but LOVE your blog! stories, personality, you are a star (not as in Hollywood but in the sky 🙂 )
    XOXO!
So encouraging and inspiring always to drop here ! Thank you Corey!

  4. Parisbreakbrunch

A wonderful new reading list tried and tested
    BIG MERCI
And I’m loving visiting all these new (to me) blogs
    What a brill post!
    Genius

  5. Wow,
you must have spent half a day quoting all those links!
I am glad my link to “Entartete Musik” entartetemusik.blogspot.com/ works!

  6. It’s been so long since I’ve worn a dress, I can’t remember if there’s one up in storage or not! Suits, yes…dress, well, that’s how life has changed, LOL. No motorcycle for me, but I am so fond of my current vehicle (her name is Gypsy) that I tell people I love it like a family member. I can roll down the windows, open the moonroof, and feel as giddy as a kid in springtime. Does that count?

  7. Hiya Corey!
    ~:0)Good morning
Hey, thanks for listing all my books, sorry they were not well ‘considered’ just off the top of my head (nice image in the middle too – just my colours!) I love this getting to know each other technique (as well as how to get through the Northern winter reading list collection system) Hey we could play some more getting to know you games…
Corey: can you tell answer these questions?
*Favorite few songs of all time – songs that sum up all the phases of your life.
*Favorite Colour (i know – predictable question)
*What is you star sign? including Chinese star sign, rising, moon if you know it?
    *Most treasured poem/passage
    *Your favorite terrain and why
*How did you earn your first $/or what did you want to be when you grew up? (for those who dont want to discuss the former in public)
Go on – I’ll give you my answers if you give us yours! (only if you’re in the mood, mind you – looks like you used a lot of your days energy on that list darling) You could save the idea for another time, for when winter really sets in maybe?
Have a great day. Oh by the way I DO love tofu (maybe cause I know how to cook it) Dont have a motorbike (in fact regret to admit I’ve never been on one!) and black dresses I have had have plenty of…here’s a teaser:
I have five planets in Capricorn and the first money I made was doing a poetry reading…

  8. Gosh, sorry about the long comment, I got carried away. Its nearly as long as your post…. laughing! 😀 Katie

  10. Many thanks to Lesley for mentioning my blog – how lovely to find your writing as a result and to meet all your lovely readers who have visited me from the link.

  11. Julie Ann Evins

What a list ! All I can think is I’ll never have time ! I wish I didn’t have links to all that blog eye candy at my disposal also…
I have black dresses galore, a motorcyle outside – no garage – source of contention ! A biker husband as you know. Tofu is as great as the cook I reckon ! Luv Jx

  12. Nancy from Mass

I love dresses and tofu! (although we do not have a motorcycle). My question is: how am I supposed to get any work done while checking out the blogs that everyone mentioned? There aren’t enough hours in the day to read them all!

  13. Nancy from Mass

another good blog I read is onefrugalfoodie. she is a vegan and has great recipes and giveaways also!

  14. Holy Cow! It doesn’t pay to miss a day around here. I don’t know where to start. Reading or blog surfing? Too fun. So many of my favorites are listed too! We amaze me.

  15. I was showing Mom how to use a laptop computer (she gets a new one today). She asked about blogs. It was a bit embarrassing to show her the list…I have about 25 blogs that I read! Yours being numero uno of course. Then Pioneer Woman, Le Petit Cabinete des Curiosities, French Word a Day, Blind Pig and the Acorn and the Craft magazine blog.

  16. What a great idea for everyone to share their favorite books. I can’t wait to check out the blogs and get some books!!!

  17. OH, how well you treat your readers, giving us cause to share and mingle more. What a happy book and blog club we make. Much love to you Corey.

  18. What an incredible list that is. Now I have a go to place to find reading inspiration. I have read some of those books, and many are on my to read someday list. Wonderful!

  19. Wow! It’s my lucky day!! Thank you ever so much!! I actually had to click on myself to make sure it was really me you chose. :^)

  20. Thank you for listing those out, Corey! I will have so much fun checking out some of the above mentioned. I like recommendations by ‘word of mouth’ the best and if these people are loving your blog then I know I can trust their other favorites will be worth my time!

  21. Yesterday I was going to leave a comment and got busy and missed the given away. It is fun to see the list and will take forever to visit and read some of the listings. I love Enchanted April, which was mentioned here. There are so many wonderful blogs including yours. parisparfait.typepad.com, soulaperture.blogspot.com, and moredoors.blogspot.com are three I really enjoy.

  22. Congratulations to the winners! You luckies!
(WAH! I forgot to come back and post my answers yesterday!)
What fun! I love new books and blogs to explore! I won’t be lacking in new reading material for a long time to come now. Thank you Corey! 🙂
    Happy weekend!

  23. I didn’t get a chance to read yesterday…today being my feast at school! But I’m loving the list today!
    Thanks!
And “To Kill a Mockingbird” is my all time favorite book, along with “A Tree Grows in Brooklyn”!
(I don’t like tofu and no motorcycles in my garage…but I do love your stories!)

  24. My favorite blog was left out. 🙁

    ———–
    Hi Allison,
Oops, sorry about that. I have added it.
    Thanks for telling me so,
    Corey

  25. Yes,I have a black dress in my closet and motorcycle in my garage. How wonderful to be your bestie.
“To Kill A Mockingbird” is definitely a favourite as is “Six of One” & “Bingo” by Rita Mae Brown.
    Blogs? YOURS, OF COURSE!

  26. …a BRILLIANT post!!!
I’ve made a bunch of notes. With so many books or blogs listed that I love, I can’t help but think there are so many more to look forward to…again, BRILLIANT!!!
    cheryl
    xx

  27. What a great idea Corey! Thank you for the reading list. : ) For the Jane Austen lovers out there… (I don’t know if this was mentioned) Pamela Aidan, a Librarian from Idaho, has written a wonderful trilogy called “Mr. Darcy, Gentleman” It is a deconstruction of “Pride and Prejudice” from Mr. Darcy’s perspective. All of my friends and family who have read the series have not been able to put the books down and are aching for Mrs. Aidan to write more. If I recall correctly, I believe my cousin said that she was so happy that she was “eating up every word.”
    Have a beautiful weekend!
    Julie M.

  28. Parisbreakbrunch
