What to do with that French Man

display on my book shelf without books

Found an old rickety bookshelf with glass doors.

Fell in love with it.

Though I had no idea where I would put it-

Love has a way of making room.

Carried it upstairs, well the two guys I live with carried it upstairs.

Then I had to move the
dresser.

Which lead me to move the chair.

Then I had to take down the
painting as the book shelf covered it up.

Where to hang the painting? Oh I had an idea: "I'll let it sleep under the bed!"

But first I had to move the suitcases.

In doing so I laughed, "I found some books making the bookshelf a practical deal!"

French Husband burst my bubble saying, "You know you aren't really go to put books in the bookshelf. Do you ever use anything for what it is intended?"

I looked him up and down with a shy grin, "Honey Doll you know I do."

You are so funny – quick wit – love it.

  10. I love those glorious chain reactions. They happen quite often at the manor, as well.
Can’t wait to see what you do with it! I have an old metal hospital cabinet I had painted pale chartreuse and keep my matte white pottery collection inside.

  11. Cocoa, the coquette! 😉

  12. LoL ~ this sounds like s.th I would do. I too have been known to drag stuff home without the slightest clue where to put it. Yet somehow it always finds a home. Rotating items through the house is always a good idea anyways, so the painting under the bed (as long as it’s in some protective cover) will do just fine. 🙂

Isn’t it amazing how bringing home one thing can cause everything to “snowball” until you don’t even recognize the room!!!
