Satin Shoes with Bows Optional

satin shoes with bows

They announced rain.
I overslept.
No rain.
Off to the brocante.

After note:

Yes, this was a painting at an antique fair that I went to.I did not buy it. Unfortunately, I did not see the name of the artist, or it wasn't signed.

I can’t help but notice ‘wonderful’ as a word that is frequently used to describe you and your blog.
    How apt.

Steeping into the Equinoxe, some days with the bows, some with boots. Dancing all the way!

I made the scramble eggs! and they wer good!!!! (my french husband was surprised! 🙂 ) and he thought it was a “foreign” recipe, so he was surprised twice when I told him: no….it was a french guy who prepared that!

Corey I also love your photos, and am an avid amateur photographer who also loves to photograph the beautiful vintage things I find and the incredible beauty of New England. I would simply LOVE to see a book by you, and I think you should incorporate ALL the things you love, and show us the beauty of France in every day things including the brocantes, the gardens, the people, the architecture….everything you encounter in your daily life. Although I’m not into blogging myself, I do so enjoy yours and the wonderful down-to-earth view you give us of another part of the world. I only wish I had done more photographing while living in England years ago. Keep up the good work and get started on that book!

I, too, love France and you take me there every day. I look at your blog the minute I get to work; it’s my favorite.

Love the blog. When it comes to the ‘book’, it’s got to be a mixture so we in Britain can absorb aspects of France, which is so addictive. Regards G.

I have been unable to find any official statistics for you, however I
have found various sites where the matter is discussed. One of these
sites has an unofficial chat room poll where 41 votes were cast. The
results of the poll seems to reflect the general situation in the UK
    regarding shoes in the house.

We are going to a lake theme park. There are several wet and dry rides and I don’t want blisters from my shoes (from walking in wet shoes) but I don’t want to lose my shoes either (on a rollar coaster). So what do you suggest?
