Being Happy even if it Rains

Closed-shutters

Threatening clouds encourages staying home.
Lazy in the middle of the morning,
Breakfast dishes stacked,
Ironing remains in a heap,
Family under one roof,
One prepares for his BAC,
Two others working side by side on their computers,
The mother wonders what to fix for lunch.

Another day begins,
Simple and good.
Content even if it rains.

  13. How I would love to have my daughter home for even one day – she is away at school. I am also happy every time it rains, Phoenix always needs it. Enjoy your lovely day.

  14. Overcast and rainy days are my favorite, and I’ve been blessed with an entire weekend of them. For me, rainy = cozy. Relish those cozy days.

So cozy sounding! Like Kimberly said, the weather here has been quite depressing lately. The only cure for this is to do what you are doing, gather family and friends, take it easy and relax. Hope Sacha does very well with the BAC.

  17. I’ve always loved rainy days, after all, I lived in England! They are perfect for planting the garden, baking, relaxing with a good book, or perusing indoor flea markets and old bookstores.

That sounds blissful. A day like that with true contentness for all the family is beyond price. Enjoy those special moments Corey, Jx
