Don’t you think printed burlap says it all? Everything deserves some dressing! Lovely.

Aaah! The music alone was worth the trip to your blog. I can imagine coming to France and deciding to buy antiques. I’d pay way too much and wonder, “What would Corey do?”
Maybe we could make brocante bags that have the initials: WWCD?

Ahhh….what treasures! I would go nuts at the brocantes! I’d need a warehouse to store it all!! Great music and presentation!

    Bonjour Corey,
Marvelous slide show. The details are lovely. My first time commenting on your beautiful blog – I’m an Amercian expat based in Paris, I met my French honey here on one of those oh so romantic nights and here we are living our fairytale.
I enjoy all the beauty and the fabulous sense of humour you put into each post!
    Bon week-end,
    Mimi

Wow…thank you for putting that together music and all. I enjoyed it much. Fabulous!!

  12. Hi Corey,
This is a perfect Friday post! Your slide show is all the inspiration necessary to get me excited about going thrifting this weekend. But can you tell me where I might find a French Accordion player in Oregon to accompany me on my adventure to Junkqueland?

  13. Corey, while admiring every single photo of the slide, it struck me that you might help me with this dilemma I keep thinking of … last may while in Paris I bought a beautifully monogrammed old heavy french linen bed sheet. it appears unused but has somewhat grayish color because of its age and even though i’ve washed it with some chlorine, it’s still not as white as I would like it to be 🙁
is there something i can do to make it white? I don’t want to dye it unless I have absolutely no choice.
    thank you.

  14. thank you, Corey for your reply. Have a wonderful weekend.

  15. HI Corey
Need to start thinking now about Round Top are you joining us this year at the Ranch House?

I don’t have speakers on my computer, so the slide show was silent – but the song “My Favorite Things” went through my head as I watched the treasures go by…fragments on table and metal old lantern…
