I see you’ve set the table…what time should I arrive?:)
Seriously, your children must feel so good when they read your blog, what a wonderful mom you are.

What about .. BATH for two… ???!!!??
Romance after all these years.
That is a spice I like.
Oh to be a guest at your beautiful table! Please may I make it three? I love the ‘aerial’ shot from above – I tried to picture how precariously you would have had to position yourself to take that one, and then your satisfaction that the end result (perfect) justified the risk to life and limb!
And how sweet and funny to hear the Turtles’ ‘Happy Together’ sung in French – delightful!
Must that be Yann Coco, I make a great dining companion ! Loving all the food blogs lately, my love, Jx
Corey, you are an exquisite decorator, a woman filled with romance, down to every detail, a lover of life, friends and family. Oh to be your neighbor/friend. You truly are my valium, my anti-depressant, a true joy in my often insane life!
Beautiful! My weakness is a gorgeous table setting and a grand meal.
Lovely table setting! Makes me want to step into the computer with my sweet husband and start clinking glasses and whispering sweet nothings to him~~Corey, you are such a romantic!
so so sweet… I am sure they miss you both as well… LOTS!
Thank you for inviting us to dine with you two lovely ones 🙂 I’ve never seen the fork and spoon turned over like you have done and am going to do that at our table to see the reaction…lol! Very chic my friend 😉
Enjoy the meals for two. When the need arrives, it’s easy to take down more plates.
So Happy Together is my husband’s and my song. We’ve been married for thirty years and had a blast dancing to it at our daughter’s wedding in Durham, NC this Spring. Your design sense is exquisite!
Lovely, hope your nest is soon filled with sounds of children.

Inspired to try out some ripe camembert with my new skills!
Just pretend you are dating again, how romantic. Dance around that table and enjoy the silence.
how beautiful and romantic.
Enticing us with old-fashioned romantic settings with a retro pop ending. You turtledoves are (how can one say?)too much!
“Tea for Two”? Sounds like a catchy lyric, if you ask me ;-)))
Your photography is wonderfully evocative. I’m going to copy the turned over flatware.
Beautiful table settings for the two of you. Enjoy every moment!
The perfect number, two. Especially YOU two! Enjoy. (Candlelight may become necessary and not only romantic for us in southern Minnesota tonight- a blizzard warning with 10″ of snow coming…wishing more than ever for a cup of Parisian hot chocolate and some croissants)
What a lovely day!
Love the ice blue sherbet glassware
Love those elegant stemmed glasses with the etched design.
What a setting for…
hi, corey,
such lovely photos, especially the glassware. romantic and chic at the same time.
but it is amazing what falls out of my head. ‘tous les deux’ is both an expression and the name of a character in thomas mann’s ‘the magic mountain’. has to have been 50 years since i looked at it, so i had to check, but there is an old rich mexican woman in the novel who is known by her one european expression. she mutters to herself about her two sons, both at the tb sanitarium on the magic mountain.
wind whistling between my ears is like a brocante shopper! the stuff, the stuff…….
