Merry Christmas Corey,
I just returned from Christmas Eve dinner with my friends. I had read Father Carriege’s one sentence homily on one of your earlier blogs, and ever since I had planned to tell my friends tonight when we go around the table and say a blessing. Everyone found it very profound and thoughtful. I could not bring myself to tell them that Father Carriege was killed by a drunk driver. That news was so unexpected to me and very sad. What a terrible loss! I am glad that you shared the homily with us. I will remember it always and share it with others. -
Merry Christmas! Thanks for sharing so much of you life with us. I look forward to it everyday. I thought of Father Carriege tonight in mass and his wonderful homily. I will probably always carry that story with me. Thanks for sharing it!
