Wallpapering

Wallpapering the W.C. (Water Closet).

My niece Juliette, the Queen of wallpapering is helping me, or I should say I am helping her, help me. I thought I would start the "collage wallpapering" in a safe place…. the W.C. before the kitchen. If I don't like it, well I can close the door and close my eyes when I go to the … well you know what I mean, instead of crying every time I am in the kitchen cooking.

I'll show you how it turns out tomorrow… or if it doesn't turn out I'll show you a closed door.

I’m sure it will be lovely. We papered all our bathrooms (water closets) after we had been in the house for a year, but had a professional do it. Choosing the paper was the toughest part! She zipped thru the papering so quickly; still looks great after 8 years and I am still delighted with the papers we chose 😉

Ha! I remember helping my Mom wallpaper her bathroom, and we started UNDER the counter, a place you only see if you move the trash can.
Good plan. Can’t wait to see the results!

  13. I wallpapered a downstairs bedroom shortly after I was married … we didn’t get a divorce but …. I leave the wallpapering to professionals now.

  14. Good idea to test it first. I agree it would be miserable to be in a kitchen you didn’t like.
