Thank you for the interesting and beautifully captures glimpses of China (also in all your previous posts)!
Clothes drying rack on a bicycle – talk about multi-tasking!
I imagine taking a spin on the bike to dry the clothes faster. 😉
Wonderful days to you and your loved ones,
    with warm greetings,

Hope all is well and foot is mending.

  21. I found you!!! I used to follow your blog a couple of years ago, then when our computer went caput one day I lost all of my bookmarks (that was back before I figured out following and readers).
For some reason I could not recall the name of your blog for the life of me. I tried everything that sounded cleverly French with no luck. Today I was surfing around out of boredom and a desire for something a bit lighter than earthquake news (we have evacuated from the Tokyo area to my husband’s hometown in south Japan), and it came to me. Imagine my surprise when I saw that you are on my side of the world! I enjoyed looking through your wonderful photos of China, etc., and look forward to more!

  22. Please tell me you are going to the “brocante” in Beijing?

  23. That first photo brings back fond memories when I was in Suzhou. I stayed there for 9 weeks a long time ago and loved it!

  24. What a trip!!!!!! Thanks for sharing this experience with us.

That first photo of the canal in Suzhou…. mesmerizing! The water that goes from a distant green to a pale aqua in the foreground. The stillness of the reflection. The glimpse of the red lantern, and then that tiny flash of turquoise. The bare branches arcing across the upper left. The repetitive rhythm of the concrete structures on the right. I looked and looked at this photo; it is a prize-winner, Corey!

The Canal looks so silent and peaceful, I wanted to sit and dangle my legs over the sidewalk path and look into it! Love the bike and baskets with drying rack too…Enjoy your adventure…God Bless!

  27. Hi Corey!
    Beautiful shot !
