If there was a blue ribbon for the most wonderful blue sea, this would certainly get my vote.
It was all I could do not to just jump in and become a fish.
If my cousins weren't with me, I would have.

These images are so beautiful. Where were you along the coast? Thanks for sharing –
You have such an amazing life. For that you are a loved one! Thank you so very much for sharing!!
Stunningly beautiful!
Such memories you are making!
Corey, thank you for for blogging every day, I notices alot of bloggers don’t . I so look forward to your blog I can’t tell thank you Nannister
I would like at least to sit by the shore and put my feet in the water. Belissmo.
Shame I wasn’t with you Corey, I’d have dived in first and then you’d have had NO excuse ! Water looks SO tempting. Truly beautiful photos – thank you. Love as always
I recently discovered your blog after searching for guidance following a move to France that left me somewhat shellshocked. My husband, myself and our two children moved here from Germany about a year ago (I’m originally from America, my husband is German) and didn’t quite know what to make of the unorganized bureaucracy, speed demon drivers, stubborn refusals to speak english(I suspect they can actually speak quite well), and somewhat sour expressions we encountered. Reading your beautiful writing has inspired me and opened my eyes to the cornucopia of beautiful and charming aspects of living here. Thankyou so much for helping me discard my holier than thou attitude and embrace all the ups and downs of living I this truly beautiful country:)
P.s. You may have also sparked a budding interest in antiques. Your treasures are gorgeous:)
God; THIS gets my vote anytime!!! I LOVE ITALY; it’s a pity that it’s a bit too far from where I live now – from Switzerland it wasn’t a big deal…
Thank you Corey, for your generous sharing of the wonderful time you cousins have! What a bunch of fun you must be…. I bet you have the Italians howling after you – bella, bella!
Can’t you feel anything itchy on your toes ???
Just check right now… I think I can spot a few scales there … !!!
Would your aching foot be turning into a fish tail …
Trying to imagine the story of “Corey the Mermaid” !!!
BREATHTAKING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
WANT TO BE THERE!!!!!!
(you tease us so much Corey)
French Riviera or Italian Riviera….BEAUTIFUL!!

I would have jumped with you. Just beautiful! Thanks for all you share.
Do I detect a bit of a love affair budding with Italia and all her surrounding? Che Bella…
The Mediterranean blues inspire me to do a new vignette in a recently available space in my shop, thank you! God Bless!
YOu do get around!I spent my honeymoon there 25 years ago!On a sailboat…………what gorgeous photos.I cannot believe China twice and now ITaly!YOu know how to live!
Simply beautiful…I do so envy you…
Such a pretty blue. I’ve often wanted to be a fish. You should have asked them, they seem like the kind of gals that would have jumped in with you.
Corey, Farmboy Husband was wondering if your camera lens has an image-stabilizer that you use to get such great dusk shots. He used the one on his camera for some great shots along the Seine at night. He’s just downloaded our photos, and we’ll both need some time to sort through all of them (will eventually send you a few of our best shots from Provence, though it may be a while still, since we both have work to do, darn it!).
Gorgeous, can I swim along with you? I promise not to splash!
My first thought was skinny dipping in that beautiful, clear water. I’ll watch your back, if you watch mine.
VERY blue. Bluer than the sky, really. Bluer than the violets that I picked and put beside my bed last week.
So blue.

I was there in 2004. The blue water was amazing!
Aw! This place has been on my ‘bucket list’ forEVER. Your pictures are beautiful!
🙂
what a life ….
Thank you so much for the photos. We will be in Cinque Terre in September and the preview was just perfect.
Seriously gorgeous. I don’t know how you resisted going in. The shots of the village lights behind the water are beautiful!
Corey, where exactly were you?
GORGEOUS pictures Corey! I want to go…need to go…
Enjoy this special time with your cousins. xoxo
You’re so lucky Corey with the weather! I’m in the middle of the Med, in Malta, and we’re having gale force winds, chilly damp cloud, and yucky, murky days raining red Saharan sand and mud. Not made it to the beach this year at all so far and it’s 15 mins drive from my house!
Off to Provence and your way 1st July, so hoping your northern Med area stays nice!
Beauty in beholder’s eye, which Corey masters.
Hi Corey, Last week we were in your neck of the woods. Nice, Aix en Provence, Roussillon, Avignon, St Remy, Casis…alot of driving and so beautiful. The week before the same in Italy, Florence, Venice, Sienna, Pienza, Montepulchiano and Cinque Terre. It was a trip of a lifetime and thanks to you I had a better idea of what to look for. Love your photos especially the boat in the evening water.
I like it very much, thank you
