Bicycling to the brocante, not really, but I knew it would grab my brother’s attention, and maybe make him smile at the word brocante. The bicyclers, who ride the road to and from our village often make the world slow. It seems whenever I am in a hurry to go somewhere there they are, on the road, it their double lane packs, as if messengers saying, “Patiences my dear, take it easy, breath, enjoy the moment at hand…”
The roads leading out of our village are full of blind curves, so if you are behind a pack of bicyclers the fifteen minute ride to the freeway entrance can take up to thirty. Thank God the bicyclers have cute butts.
The iPhone is proving to be a perfect tool for blogging. Easy to snap a photo with, beats lugging a heavy camera with lens, and I can add a photo to the blog within seconds.
Yesterday after following the bicyclers for awhile, we made it to the brocante. Fifteen minutes after arriving it started to rain. Most of the dealers covered theirs stands with heavy plastic and carried on. Some smart shoppers had umbrellas, I had my iPhone. Though amazingly enough, I managed to find a few things. I hope to reopen Tongue in Cheek Antiques in July. But I might add a few things before then. ______________________________________ Readers, Because I have this handy dandy iPhone that makes it very easy to add photos and videos to my blog I am wondering if you prefer that I add random photos throughout the day to my blog with one main post as I have been doing these last few days. Or should I add extra photos and clips a few times a week. Or… it you have another idea, suggestion, imput…. I would love to hear it. Thanks.
