Jumping high, and laughing, "More, more, higher, higher…"

Again and again, over and over… where do they get the energy? No, why do they have no fear?

Taking turns, jumping off the board. Age four to Nineteen, but that doesn't matter when you are cousins.

  1. It looks so much fun !! Wish I was a kid again. Wait, I still am 😉
    Happy Saturday Corey.

  2. You have such beautiful and happy children in your family, and young men as well. The days may end, but your memories don’t have to, take them with you. A slice of sunny Cali in France.

Sacha is the master of high jumps! And with those daredevil stunts, he is surely his father’s son 🙂
These scenes look so happy, and they remind me of carefree outdoor summer living in South Africa where I raised my kids, so different to Europe! You’ve given your kids a great gift of the experience of two very different life-styles and cultures – it looks like Sacha has had a whale of a time this past year!

  4. Sam looks just like his dad. The jumps are terrifing! I would have an ambulance on standby when those boys get together!

What memories, what family ties. Admiring the way you all love and enjoy each other

  6. I have so many grat memories of swimming in that pool on hot, hot days with Franca Bollo. Loved being there.

Did you go in the pool to cool off, too, Corey? Or was it strictly the under-21 crowd?
Back at BHS one of our graduation requirements was to be able to jump into a pool — being a huge HS with 3000+ students in 3 years, we had separate boys’ & girls’ pools, both competition length, used for PE as well as sports — tread water for 30 seconds, then swim the length and back using the Australian Crawl stroke (nowadays called freestyle). I was, and still am, sufficiently acrophobic (afraid of heights) that having to jump into the pool was the hardest part for me.
I don’t know if anyone was ever actuallly denied a diploma for failure to pass the swim test, but students who didn’t pass the first semester (I barely did) were doomed to repeat beginning swimming in PE for as many semesters as it took. The thought of those standard-issue itchy green wool(!) tank-suits still makes me shudder. In fact, now that I think about it (scratch, scratch…)

  10. Best pool party ever!!! 😀

Those are the days that they will remember fondly all their lives. I have memories much like that with cousins in the pool. Great photos and what fun!

  12. Franca Bollo

Thanks, Mar. It means a lot to see family continuing to swim in that pool. I think I’ll lie down and have a cry, now.

Jackie … both my sister and I chipped teeth on that diving board so actually a dentist on standby would be more useful.

I love this! I don’t want summer to end either…back to school (but I love school!) and off to a far-away college for my oldest.
    I love summer!

  15. Sharon Penney-Morrison

carefree and happy. That is captured in these pictures.
    Thanks, Corey.

Carefree summer days. What happened to just floating around? The kids make nervous when they start doing tricks. I have to leave the watching to my dear husband.

such wonderful memories in times to come; and such splendid moments while they last.
