  1. Loving your artsy photos.

  2. Shouldn’t we be seeing more, ahem, FOOD at the dejeuner? ;-)))

  3. Oh! I’ve had breakfast, lunch and dinner at Le Pre aux Clercs on many trips to Paris! it’s one of my favorite stops — right at the corner of rue Bonaparte and rue Jacob and across from laduree. Love it to people watch and the history of the place. So cool!!

Corey, I have been out of town and have just cought up with your blog today. This is about your son’s adventure with his job. I feel you and I, as well as our husbands, have raised identical sons. Chap wanted to stay in his college town his last summer. Andy said ok as long as he worked and got him a job at a soon-to-be-golf course where Chap would be the only white person(rest were Spanish-speaking-only)on the job at minimum wage. It was an eye opener for the benefits of higher education and a lesson in humility. For Chap, it was sink or swim. He embraced the job and culture he was surrounded with and learned many valuable lessons, one of which was prejudice. One of life’s many lessons was gleaned that summer just as your son has learned his. R
