Not your Granny’s egg cups; or maybe they were. Bon appetit.

Vegans eat eggs? Ugh, I just cannot stomach soft boiled eggs eaten from the shell. But the glasses used to hold the eggs are lovely 🙂

I had boiled eggs for breakfast today too! I also have the day off, so I am excited to see where “we” will be going today! Sounds like fun.

  6. Eggs, smeggs…I want to know more about those fabulous signs above your stove !???

  7. Love visiting the market in France, but won’t eat those eggs. My goodness they are too soft.

  8. Eek me either.. I cannot do with soft boiled eggs. Sorry Corey, those are two images that made me wince..:(

  9. Love the glassware that you use for egg cups. So glad you are taking us along on your market excursion. Our Farmer’s market is Saturday morning and Tuesday evenings. I love to go and make it a weekly ritual. Last night the berries were sold out so I only came home with leeks. Never tasted leek before, so this will be a new experience for me. Have fun at the market!

  10. I haven’t had soft boiled eggs in forever! ♥ I used to eat them every day as a kid with toast!

  11. mm, soft boiled egg, peeled, and smashed between two thin pieces of toasted sour dough with a rubbing of fresh garlic, lightly salted bread! umph!

  12. me neither, can’t do the slime,i gag. i ♥ a runny yolk, but not the uncooked white around them. wasn’t going to say anything, but others did. now to look at me i don’t have too many dislikes, but that is one of them. now, hubby claims that those kind eggs and tomatoe juice was the only thing that was a.o.k. after a night on the town. that was years ago. a friend once said, that she has never seen anyone like me disect an egg like i do. i cut the yolk away, then get rid of runny part and proceed to eat the cooked white, then the yolk. there i have talked enuf. Bestest,Denise

  13. Those are THE BEST egg cups! Delightful use of the glasses (they are glasses, aren’t they?) and giving me some ideas for Easter. I’m not too crazy about soft-boiled eggs, but, like them poached, which makes them basically the same consistency. Go figure. My cousin used to calls these “dippy eggs” and so they have been called for almost three quarters of a century in our family.
I’ll think tomorrow I’ll have some “dippy eggs” for breakfast.

Loving the presentation – “EGGCELLENT” – Apologies Coco as this will surely start a chain of silly egg related words ! Love Jx
