Stories Collected While Living in France
While at the grocery store with French Husband I filmed the wine section with my i-Phone. I was in a goofy mood, which isn't unlike me on most days.
In the video you will see wine bottles galore, and French Husband and Alain, the wine clerk talking up a storm about wine.
P.S. I cannot resist saying that: Alain is single by the way.

I love your slice of life videos, Corey. I will be coming to France Sept 1 for a wedding and I’m very much looking forward to it. I love meandering through the grocery stores of the country that I’m visiting… and of course I hope to find an outdoor market or two.

Gosh, where was that store? We never saw one like that while there. Probably too far from us.
Watched the video of French Husband conversing with the clerk at the store. So many wine selections! Did you notice the gentleman in the background who saw the video taking place and tried to ensure he was in the video…lol!
But where are the customers? Such a large store but appears to be empty. Do the French shop on weekends instead of during the week, much like those of us in the States who only have time to shop on the weekend at the large stores?

I loved as a child going into the huge Carrefour supermarkets and my dad filling the boot with French red before boarding the ferry back to Ireland. I used to spend the last of my pocket money on anything from the French stationary section. I loved knowing it would be different from my other Irish classmates when we returned to school at the end of the summer!

Incredible! I have never seen such a display. The Japanese love their drink, but, boy, do they have a lot to learn about displaying it.
