Thread spools. I have never seen another pair since…. so why did I sell them?
My brocante online shop has been closed most of this year… Certainly not because of lack of peeling, rusty, old, chipped, cute, one of a kind, brocante merchandise. Oh no certainly not because of that. The brocante bug never stops. It hasn't been closed because of lack of enthusiasm, or my wanting to keep everything either. It has been closed because I haven't sat still long enough to put everything online.
I sell because I have this thing about going to the brocante. In order to go to the brocante and do what I love best I have to sell so I can buy, it's a vivious cycle, and someone has to do it. Most of all having the brocante bug feeds my passion for finding, negotiating, and buying old things. Yes I keep a few things, but I sell more than keep.
Now, I have got to get a moving, and seriously work… can I call brocanting work? My lovely self made job kicks in on September 10th, a few days after Sacha leaves for school.
