  1. Thank you, Corey, for writing this beautiful blog. My wish is you write books too, really really wish it’ll come true.
Lots of love from Hong Kong.

Hi Corey, loved this post. It reminds me of a quote from George Burns. “Memories don’t belong in in drawers”. Back in ’84 I calligraphied (is that a word?) and framed it for my dad as a birthday present since I/we had a very “memorable” childhood. I’ve always loved that quote. Thanks for reminding me.
Looks like you’ll be visiting Mexico and who knows where else in the near future…hope you’ll enjoy it and share it.
Your blog is such a joy!

  3. And thank you for faithfully sharing a bit of beauty, every day.

  4. Thank you Corey, for sharing your life and blessing us with you love and grace. Your blog inspires me to be a better person and see the beauty that surrounds us.

  5. Being a California girl through and through, I was 21 before the first time I ever saw snow fall — on Farmboy (future) Husband’s Midwestern family farm (where I’d gone to meet his relatives over winter vacation).
Thrilled by the sheer spectacle, I ran outside to commune ecstatically with the natural experience — and promptly ran back indoors, because I immediately discovered that snowflakes are sharp little suckers that hurt my face!
Why do I mention this now, you might reasonably inquire? Because it’s been snowing here all frickin’ morning :-((( I just sent Farmboy Husband outside to snap some digital photos for me to edit and email to friends in balmier climes (e.g., California, the Azores) just as soon as I get off my computer so he can download them.
Oh, and I’m sick of winter — already!!!
