Dare to Live the Dream

Photo Chelsea in Mexico.

Dare to live the dream you hold true in your heart.

Dare to look at yourself and change if need be.

Dare to feel the seasons of emotions, and not control them.

Dare to say no-

Dare to say yes-

Dare to say I don't know.

Dare to take a giant step in the direction of what you want.

Dare to know you are lucky.

Dare to believe.

French letters 19th century

I loved that many of you responded to The Bucket List question.

Travel was number one.

Learning something to perfection was number two.

and three was a mixture of hopes, dreams and desires that are obtainable with time.

XOXO

Let's pray we all remain healthy and strong to see our desires come true.

… to play the UKULELE,

… to dance the tango,

…to live on one's artist talent,

… to go a day without anxiety,

…to have a child,

…to hold ones future Grandchildren….

I especially liked what Marilyn of Chico said…

"To patch my bucket so that it will hold
  more wishes."

We need to patch our broken dreams, dust ourselves off, repaint the smile, gain courage from within…. we need to dream!

Unlike what my Brother Mathew-Stinky Pants (Who is going to be fifty soon.)  said,

Brother Mathew said…

1. To not,

2. make a,

3. bucket list.

Party Pooper!

  1. From Chelsea’s on down, all gorgeous images and beautiful dreams!
Congratulations to the winner and may all of your and your readers’ dreams come true!

  2. Loved sharing my bucket list. What a great shot of Chelsea in Mexico living her dream.

  3. I will have LOADS to read when I can next indulge myself with your blog, Corey.
The most important sentence of the above article reads:
    DARE TO SAY ‘I DON’T KNOW’….
I found that I was in pretty good shape always when I maybe didn’t know what I wanted (to have/to do/to plan) but when I knew what I did NOT want/wish for…
And one of the most difficult things to say seems for many to express: I don’t know…. Every so often I have to admit that I’ve changed my opinion on something because I’ve learned more on the subject/person/situation – and then I am amazed that people say ‘How can you say you don’t know’… It seems that nowadays we always should be sure of ourselves which of course we cannot be and we mustn’t show weaknesses – so silly and unnecessary.
God bless you, may your list come true! I’m thinking of digging out the ‘Bucket List’ film with wicked Jack Nicholson and brill Freeman…. they sure ’emptied’ their bucket list!

I need to do all those things today and in the coming days. Thank you, Corey.

  9. Heard on NPR this morning that in the mountains outside of Prague, the temperatures could drop as low as minus 40° this weekend. They didn’t need to say whether that was Celsius of Fahrenheit, however, because -40° is the answer to the puzzle I posted about the temperature that’s the same number on both scales!
Keep warm this weekend, y’all, especially those in the coldest climates!

  10. Celsius OR Fahrenheit. Darned fingers, just washed ’em and I can’t do a thing with them!

  11. Congratulations Brenda! and Chelsea, for living her dreams. I loved the mend the bucket comment. It is so true. And Brother Mathew, thanks for always making me laugh!
