When they people you love are not happy then you are not happy either.
I am happy.
Are they people you love happy today? I hope so.
Oh yes, We’ve had a scary few weeks with 88 y/o Auntie Charlotte, but last night she woke up, asked how long she’d been in the hospital and ate a plateful of meatloaf, mashed potato, carrots and cake! Very Happy today, very happy…:)

So true! I am happy today – but I would be happier if the temperatures outside were in the 70’s or 80’s instead of the 20’s! Oh well spring is coming….
I hope they are, but I’ll bet they’re not as happy as I am, even if it is close to 0 degrees today with the wind. By the way Corey I still can’t seem to get an email through to you…will try tomorrow when I return from taking a friend to the hospital.
Their happiness surrounds you like a cloak and your sadness diminishes whilst basking in their joy. Once that moment is over and you are alone, your sadness creeps back in. Can you ever just be happy for you and not soley because your loved ones are? I have lived my life trying to make my family happy and realised that they make their own and all this time I had forgotten what makes me happy outside of this arena and so as they grow and fly the nest slowly I look around and see that here I am just me, a little bit lost.

Sorry I’ve been out of the comments for so long – I’ve been so sick with a cold/flu that’s raging through southern Minnesota.
But I did manage to get out and play my harp for a Valentine’s Day theme wedding yesterday. Red dresses, white roses, so much romance, so much love.
I love happy days!
Today ended not so happy-we hit a deer and the front of my Suburban is all banged up. 🙁 And in all the hassle my husband’s cell phone got lost-thinking it must’ve fallen out of the vehicle when he got in and out a couple times.
BUT, there is always a silver lining. We weren’t hurt and our vehicle could’ve been damaged much worse and the deer didn’t come through our windshield or anything like that!

knowing that the people i love are happy is the only way for me to stand being so far away from them. i phone my family and friends all the time so that i can ensure they are ok – and if i don’t hear from any of them for some length of time, i am deeply worried….
so yes, i am mostly a very happy person!
