When in Venice, ride the canals, especially with a guy in a stripe shirt and preferably with a hat with a red ribbon.

Wear a mask, and pose for photos.

Act lost.

Talk to an Italian, no words need…

Just say, "Baci Qui!" and point to your heart.

In the summer the gondala fellas (forgot their name) wear lovely white shirts; I have one and love it 😉 Did you purchase a mask?

I just love hanging around with you.

  5. I’ve always thought it sounded fun to ride the gondolas on the canals in Italy! Enjoy…

  6. Your photos are bringing back such fond memories of our visit there. Our daughter met her husband in Venice and they honeymooned there last year. We LOVE Venice!

WONDERFUL photos Corey, wish I was there! You MUST look up Paolo Conte while in Italy..maybe you can hear him in concert…he is a FABULOUS musician/composer and his music is awesome!! He sings/speaks in both Italian and French

  10. Taking a gondola stirred by a handsome gondolier from one architectural jewel to another, stopping for pastries and coffee, while wearing a mysterious and beautiful mask – hard work, but someone has to do it. Thank you Corey for undertaking this challenge and reporting back to us. 🙂
    Looking forward to more.

  11. Did the guy in the striped shirt sing for you? I tried to get our striped shirt guy to sing, but to no avail. Your trip sounds lovely.
